We had seen bad reviews on Ioverlander. Comments on animals being mistreated.
But there were so many good comments in the past.
We went. We realized that the ranch now has a new owner. Don't look for the Canadian. The place is now run by this woman who should live in downtown New York. He is clearly a person who is there to make money with the gringos.
If you like animals go somewhere else. She doesnt love them. Its a really sad place.

Recomiendo a FeNel

The perfect place to escape the strong wind of the Pacific in a fresh day and be still close to the ocean and nature. It's a calm and wild area with walking distance from the ocean. The couple Nelly and Felipe are welcoming and share their little Ranch family in a very warm way. The bus has all you need and is in good conditions, clean and very cozy.
We would definitely come back:)

The bus itself was occupied so we just van camped here for 1 night. There are 1 or 2 level ish spots next to the fence, but for the most part the van / rv parking spots here arent very level. This is a cute small ranch / farm with 2 small dogs. We brought our city dog and had no problems. The farm animals are very cute and the assorted ages of kids we had all had a great experience here as well. It is a small place, so I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they are around to open the gate. The guy who runs the place speaks decent english and is really friendly and helpful.

It’s easy to pass right by Filipe and Nel’s little lot. It sits across from a massive line of Pacific escarpments on a sprawling plain. It appears almost alone from afar. How inaccurate that view becomes upon getting closer.

Their farm teems with life — sheep, horses, pigeons, dogs, goats, pigs, and more of them every day: we witnessed the honestly rather miraculous birth of a goat during our ten-day stay; or was it twenty? I struggle to remember.

We were quite comfortable in the school bus they had re-appropriated and tastefully prepared. Our phones were not hungrily drained by Wi-Fi, as there is none, and thank goodness places like that still exist. We relished learning the clever and economic water system they designed. The space has been so thoroughly thought out.

Time dilated in the company of these rich souls — exploring an old volcano, hunting wildly in the ocean for clams, cooking probably around two hundred hand-harvested muscles, getting ice cream after a days work on our motorcycles, watching the dogs learn to herd the sheep, feasting on fresh goat cheese and oyster, drinking wine by the fire.

You’ll have to read a book to find warmer, more genuine spirits than those that reside on this little plot.

Great place close to beach with sand. We camped in our tents and we had an awesome time. Some great animals live there as well, goats, chickens, a horse, pidgeons and 2 dogs. You can sleep in converted bus as well for a little more money.
