Al's Backstreet Cantina

Luis, his sister, and mom make it so fun, the time just flies by. My favourite cantina to visit!

This is a great local bar just 2 blocks off the malecone. Frequented by Mexican and American local residents. Good food, outdoor patio in back, and friendly bartenders that always make you feel welcome.

One of my favorite local hang outs for over 20 years. Love Al, Luis, Amapola, Amapola Jr, Steve and the regulars. Two pool tables.

Friendly staff, funny, warm, dive-y atmosphere. Margaritas were good and they're gearing up for NYE tomorrow.

On the recommendation of another reviewer we visited this iconic San Felipe bar. The bar is a hoot.extremely eclectic decor.cover the little ones faces as you enter.drinks strong and cheap. On our visit.the food was the star. Definitely one of the best meals we've had. Eat the steak sandwich. And the fish and chips. You are welcome.

Al's is a shady looking (but safe) must visit bar on, as the name implies, a back street in San Felipe.
Located two blocks off the Malicon on a one way street.
Al's was made famous by a visit from actor Harrison Ford. A tabloid highly exaggerated the nights events, but makes for a fun conversation over a great hand made margarita. Al and his family run the bar and are great hosts to all that visit. You will find friendly people, a couple pool tables, good music and good food.

This is an iconic San Felipe stop. I have to tell you that I feel it's one of the best places to eat. Way underrated in the food dept. When your tired of Taco's go for a reasonably priced steak. Or the all you can eat shark. Really good. The wine needs to be kicked up!

Ambiente relajado. Te atienden personalmente y con la alegría de siempre.
En lo personal el bar más familiar y que te saca del estrés diario de los problemas que tengas.

Cuenta con restaurante en la parte de atrás.deberían probarlo. No se arrepentirán
