Tried to put our kayak in at the Marina but they wanted 25$ to do so. Said we could use that towards a meal at the restaurant that doesn't open for 6 more hours. From the reviews that doesn't sound worth it. Found another spot to put in.
Espero tener mejores fotos próximamente.
Tranquilo, agradable. Visitalo. Y me cuentas
La comida riquísima, gran variedad, excelente música y excelente atención
Recomendado
Greeting, this morning, Dec 10,2022, we just walked and learned they are reopening La Marina Restaurant and with a marked handicap entrance for wheelchairs. The past month or so this restaurant received a major Make-over. Wow, we were impressed with the new facility's look.very nice; now let's hope they improve the bar service, food and old style of entertainment; and please stop those dogs of the white lady hostess from licking our legs and feet when we are trying to enjoy our lunch outside or inside; it happens every time we visit. We tell her but she says it's Okay, the owner allows her dog to roam around, with no leash; this is NOT good customers services at all, total disrespectful and inconsiderate of your customers. The files and mosquito bug situation are easy to resolve by adding air fans above the door entrance/exits and kitchen, and/or outdoor patios put standing fans. This gets rid of bugs as we eat and hang outside. Those are the reasons we do Not eat there. However, my wife's friends really love the walk there from our rental at the Punta Estero Beach Association to enjoy the patio view & Drinks of the Lagoon. Thank you, Mr. Cortina, for your improvements to the facility (please train employees in customer services) and let's hope soon, the City Council will approve the pavement of the road to this lovely restaurant (entrance needs improvements too for bikes) and the entire road of this Spit. That's a major issue for many visitors/tourists, biking is in folks. The local citizens/business owners need to meet with the City's planning manager/representative to request pavement of this Todos Santos Blvd. If you don't ask, you will not receive; Duh. Ask the Mayor. It's that simple. Host him and a town hall meeting there at your restaurant. -Betty.
A tourist trap, the prices are just like you have been dining in USA, $88 for dinner for 4 people and we didn't even drink alcohol, but the quality is awful and you have to dine with a whole lot of bugs, mosquitoes, flies sharing your food and your skin. Avoid summer travel at all costs, or you will be eaten to death by the mosquitoes.
This place was good. It's gone downhill since the pandemic. Service and food have gotten sloppier, more expensive, quality has gone down. The beans smelled slightly sour the last time. The food I make at home is prettier and better quality, and I'm no chef. Would not recommend.
We have been to La Marina several times and we always have a great time. This time we went with the Punta Bands Yacht Club and we had a blast.
The fettuccini alfredo, enchiladas, and pizza are super good. Drinks are fantastic. The Bloody Mary might be the best in all of Ensenada - they actually put horse radish in it! Nice and spicy - lots of places can't seem to nail the spicy part. Great happy hour as well. Extremely friendly service, awesome location with a great view and good food. What more can you ask for?
Wonderful, laid-back type of place. We ate, and drank and played Bocce ball in the sand. Live music started at 3: 00.
Very nice place with great view of the water and mountains. Food was good as well. Would return.
If I could give negative stars I would. This place is old and rundown. The food is not cooked well and the servers have no attention to detail. We had small children with us yet people were seated right next to us that were smoking and cursing. The distancing guidelines for dinning are definitely not being followed as tables are extremely close to each other in the patio.
“The Chef”took my special pizza order
WOW! Fantastic! &Romantic w/the view of the city lights!
We had the brunch and the food was excellent, , especially the pork ribs. The lady singer was so good that she should compete with American got talents. The service was very friendly, it is like visiting friends and family. We will go back next Sunday.
Decent food with an amazing view. I recommend eating there as close to sunset as possible and eating on the back patio. After eating, there is plenty to do from playing pool, taking shots with your easily made friends, sitting around a fire, gossiping about the locals and there is almost always a friendly dog around to play with
