Playa Hermosa Bed and Breakfast

We had the best mini vacation/ Birthday celebration in some time, Our Playa Hermosa stay was wonderful! Very comfortable beds, safe parking, beautiful view, walking distance to beach and some restaurants, friendly hosts an delicious breakfasts (my favorite blueberry pancakes! I loved our cozy balcony overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the pool, the game room and stayed up late on the big balcony. Derek is a great host, knowledgeable of the area and places around good to visit, there are so many more things to do in Ensenada that Two days is not enough, so, for sure we’ll visit again! Thank you!

I was here for two weeks and it was a great stay. Derek and Ana are friendly hosts who will tell you all the places and restaurants to visit. Derek makes amazing breakfasts with delicious coffee and the egg concoctions, bacon, and blueberry pancakes are scrumptious. The rooms are fantastic, with these huge beds that you have to climb into and feel fresh and ready to go in the mornings. The spectacular beach can be viewed from the balconies and there's easy access to it for long walks or watching the activities, such as horseback riding. Or if you want to just take a day off from touring, hang out by the pool and get a nice tan in the hot sun, but bask in the cool breezes. Playa Hermosa Bed and Breakfst is a place I surely intend to visit again. Thanks Derek and Ana!

No hablan español. No dejan hacer el "checkout" a las 12. No sabia eso y tuve que salir de repente de una videoconferencia. Me dijeron que tendría que pagar por cada hora después de las 11. Desayuno limitado y no empieza hasta las 9. Difícil para personas que hacen cosas en la mañana. No hay señales afuera para saber como entrar.

No es hotel ni hostel, es una casa en obra de un canadiense bohemio, muy simpático. Pero debería cobrar la mitad hasta tener el alojamiento en condiciones

Great find in great location. Wonderful inn with spacious, comfortable rooms & lots of beautiful common areas (dining, sitting room, balcony/patio, garden). Walk to beach, restaurants, local pubs. Short drive to wine country in Valle Guadelupe. Hosts were friendly & helpful! Would come back for sure!

Across street from Playa Hermosa beach and walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. Secure parking! Host, Derek, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area; gave us tips on things to do, places to eat, etc. He also makes the best blueberry pancakes EVER! Great place to kick back on sun deck, play pool, ping pong, or watch movie in theater room. Oh, and his two dogs, Kira and Vinny, are the sweetest.:)

This place is awesome! Derek and Shari are so nice breakfast is great! Its secure and beautiful! We will be back - many times!

Playa Hermosa Bed and breakfast saved us. Our rv broke down and we could not find a hotel that would take our golden retriever while the rv was worked on. Derek answered our phone call and assured us we no longer needed to stress. The dog was welcome, our room spacious, and Derek and Shari so welcoming, our rain cloud turned into a silver lining. We will have playa Hermosa B&B be first priority on our next trip. Thank you Derek and Shari.

Excelente bed and breakfast. A unos metros del nuevo malecón en ensenada y de varias tiendas de conveniencia y restaurantes. Con muchos amenities. Muy buena vista al mar. Terraza con chimenea. Teatro en casa sala de juegos y gimnasio. Realmente agradable la estancia.

Excellent location and the best accomodations in Ensenada. Derek and Shari will take excellent care of you and are very knowledgeable on what to do and where to go in Ensenada.

Comfort and location!
This place was awesome. The place is right at the best beach in town and surrounded by great restaurants.
The room had brand new beds and pillows that we melted into. Loved the facilities! We sat on the huge deck with a nice cozy fireplace and a glass of wine, it took all our troubles away watching the waves and the cruiseships go by.
