This delightful family run cafe is in Colonia San Antonio next to Centro. Located on a residential street, the cafe is on the bottom floor of the owners' home with a warm and welcoming feel. The food was fabulous and freshly prepared in the open kitchen. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered (limonada, agua fresca, grilled veggie fajitas, breakfast chile relleno with egg, bacon and cheese, and a thick slab of banana bread which we split). We'll definitely be back!

El desayuno muy rico, puedes encontrar sazón casero, atención muy buena.

Fui a desayunar, pedí un omelette y estaba un poco crudo, le faltaba un poco de sazón.
La atención es rápida y amable. Me parece que podrían incluir el café americano en la compra del desayuno, no tiene refil como en otros lugares de la zona.

We have been searching for the perfect place for breakfast and yesterday we found it at El Buen Café. The food is surpassed only by the warm friendly service. We’re going there again this morning. We highly recommend El Buen Café.

Had Friday night burger and fries. Good like the ones you'd grill on your back deck. Only these are grilled on the front deck. You're treated like family here. Try it.

Quaint neighborhood cafe on San Jorge in Colonia San Antonio. Run by a couple. Food was tasty and very inexpensive. Service was good too.

My wife and I absolutely love El Buen Cafe. Especially on Thursday and Friday when they stay open for dinner and serve the best burger in SMA!
They open at 6: 30 on Thursday / Friday and you will be glad you stopped by.

Christmas Dinner was excellent. Everything cooked to perfection. Deserts were awesome. First time customer. Will certainly dine with them again.

The restaurant is clean and comfy. I love their artichoke and pesto omelet and coffee. The owners are very nice!

A lovely young family riuns this comfortable clean, neighborhood-y coffee shop. They feature gringo friendly breakfasts, yummy sweets and excellent coffee which sometimes is an adventure in Mexico. Their menu always has a surprise - last time I had grilled skin-on salmon in a Chipotle/Raspberry sauce. Muy rico! He serves big chargrillrd burgers at night.

Very family oriented. Husband, wife & child present. Wife cooks. Husband, who speaks good English, waits on tables. Good food. All fresh ingredients. Once you go you will return.
