93I'm pleased to say that this is one of those places that actually lives up to all its hype and attention. The food was equisite and high quality. Most perfectly poached eggs I've ever had. Impressive hostess and servers too. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because my lavender latte was not hot. I like my coffee hot.

Nice atmosphere/decor and live music. However the food was average and not authentic and felt like it was a getaway for Americans that don’t want to leave America behind. For a Mexican experience would recommend somewhere else
Lo único malo es la fila para entrar, pero el Latte de lavanda es algo que nunca había probado y sí lo recomiendo ($45mx). Los que atienden son muy amables.
The outstanding cuisine, the atmosphere that contributes to the overall experience, the care and welcoming staff show this restaurant/cafe demonstrates why we continue to come back time after time after time.there is always a waiting line, just because people care about quality food and experience.
One of the very best places there is for breakfast in a town that has in my opion some world class options for food. Lavanda is Cozy delicious and has a menu with simple but thoughtful touches of creativity on what would be otherwise standard breakfast offerings. Needless to say you better arrive early because it gets very busy and you might end up waiting for a bit.

I read several reviews and they were spot on with the wait time so plan accordingly because they are busy. Worth the wait! I loved this place! Will come back next time in San Miguel. The food was so good! Coffee was amazing.never had it infused with lavender and it has changed my experience with lattes. We went on a Tuesday and they had live music. Great experience!
First, go early, 8: 30 or 9am at the latest, otherwise you'll have to wait a long time. It's that popular, and with good reason: food is great, well presented, decent portions, and the coffee is amazing.
Ours was a big table and tried several coffee and breakfast dishes, all of them were great. Tre bread was amazingly fresh, and tasty.

Te brindan varios métodos de preparación de café para todos los gustos. Gozan de el mejor equipo para preparar café. Sobresale el café Espresso.
Los desayunos son sencillos quizás no muy bastos pero si de mucho sabor. Cualesquiera que se escoja no se defraudaran.
La panadería ofrece pan fresco y depende la temporada es el tipo de pan (de muerto, rosca de reyes, etc).
Recomiendo llegar temprano pues se llega hacer fila de espera. Los martes no abren.
El lugar es muy acogedor.
Es necesario hacer reservación ya que la mayor parte del tiempo hay mucha gente esperando.
La comida es deliciosa
Muy buen lugar, no aceptan reservaciones y normalmente la cola es bastante larga pero vale toda la pena, la sentada está muy rica, los platillos están deliciosos y el café también está muy bueno, recomiendo pedir la cazuela, los chilaquiles y el pan francés.
Delicious. The limonada de café - a must try. I am sad I didn't try the lavender coffee as well. Loved the atmosphere and live music, and the service was excellent.

Fabulous breakfast place. Their hot chocolate is amazing, and our plates (cazuela and poached eggs) were really good. There was live guitar music when we went.
Restaurante ubicado en el centro de San Miguel de Allende, exquisitos desayunos, muy originales preparados en cazuela, vale la pena la espera, recomiendo tomar el número de espera, dar una vuelta y volver, ya que el lugar es pequeño y el tiempo de espera es un poco largo, sin embargo una vez que estás adentro disfrutas su buena atención y su buena comida.
Es muy rico desayunar aquí. No pueden irse de San Miguel sin visitarlo. Abre 8.30 y no toman reservas, así que vayan entre 8 y 8.10 para asegurarse entrar, ya que mucha gente hace filas, si quieren desayunar un sábado o domingo.
Excelente lugar, muy rico y agradable, siempre hay lista de espera pero lo vale completamente, el café y chocolate buenísimos con un toque de lavanda, precios buenos, completamente recomendado.
Loved the ambiance. Comfortable place. Loved food quality except for the bread which was just ok to me. Clean. Coffee quality superbe.
