Can’t beat the view! But that’s not all - Luna Tapas Bar also brings great service and flavorful as well. As the only non-Spanish speaker in my group, I appreciated that they had extra menus in English as well as the regular Spanish menus. The vegan mushroom tacos were amazing, the salsa was super fresh, the still water was cold, the music was good and not too loud, and the cathedral in the back of all of our group pictures was picturesque gorgeous. Recommend!

Unbeatable view, great service, food and cocktails were very good. Highly recommend.

The only downside was the attention to detail and cleanliness. We had to ask someone to re-clean our table (it had food stains on it), the floor under our table was extremely dirty (food, cork, stir sticks, etc.), and the cushions were stained and dirty in a few places. Just a little more attention to detail and it would be a 5 star experience.

Update: returned again a week later and was disappointed that the pizzas were removed from the menu. Ordered same appetizer (hummus) and was served differently than a week prior (previously was handmade mini pita pockets and this time seemed like the bottom of a Stacy’s pita chip bag). Salmon tacos were amazing, ribeye tacos were a disappointment with a fair amount of fat that should’ve been removed. Service was extremely slow. With so many amazing 5 star places in SMA - come here for the views but temper expectations.

The first time I went to this place was four years ago and this weekend I made it back again and it was just as outstanding as the first time. The food, drinks, and the views are all spectacular. We ordered octopus, truffle fries, and fish tacos. Each one of them was completely delicious. The place is certainly on the expensive side, even in comparison to best spots in Mexico City, but non the less I would say it’s worth it for the quality of food and experience you get.

El único motivo por el que pongo 3 y no 5 es porque la atención para mi mesa en particular fue deficiente respecto al precio que se paga por los alimentos, +80% de los comensales eran (evidentemente) extranjeros, yo soy vecina de SMA y sentí una diferencia de atención al cliente más rápida y eficiente en las otras mesas que en la mía, en algunos momentos pasaban hasta 15 mins sin bebida ni meseros que preguntaran por nosotros.

Fuimos porque nos recomendaron las tapas, y ya no venden tapas, el lugar es bello, la vista muy bonita, servicio bueno, las mesas son incómodas para comer. Es caro.

We had a reservation at 7: 30. We waited for the elevator downstairs, our table was given away because we were “late” 3 mins. Then they told us they’d have a table for us and that it was just l being cleaned, in the meantime they offered drinks at the bar. 1 hour later we had to ask what happened to our table; we had a rude hostess that said it was our fault for their elevator line running behind. When we finally sat down it got a little bit better but service was spotty. When the check came they charged the complimentary drinks and the waitress told us they should have held reservation 15 mins as policy. We didn’t mind paying for them but they had offered to comp them because they gave away our table to begin with. Such a rude experience would not recommend.

Had a reservation, waited for over an hour for a table. Horrible service, mediocre food, not worth the hype. So many better places in San Miguel.

Weather you are visiting, or are a resident this is a must visit rooftop bar for great drinks, wine, and tapas. Incredible food, atmosphere, cocktails, wine and mingling. Great live music and casual dancing.

I saw a lot of recommendations for this place when visiting San Miguel de Allende. However I cannot recommend if you are a foreigner looking for the San Miguel/Mexican experience. The view is awesome, if you want to pay for that. Food is okay to good, but while I am in Mexico I want to experience Mexico. The atmosphere and live music was all English/American. This may be for some people, but if you want to experience the culture of what San Miguel can offer I would not recommend it. Constant smokers, which is allowed, but just not for me. A better experience for a fourth of the cost can be had a short walking distance away.

Primer punto importante es que tienes que ir con reservación de preferencia.
La comida es muy rica eso no lo negaré, sin embargo si tú presupuesto es un poco limitado no es una recomendación que haría, aunque un gustito de vez en cuando no está mal.

Uno de los mejores lugares en San Miguel Allende, para tener una vista de su iglesia, con una buena cocina y un cóctel en la mano para brindar por lo wue ves, degustas y bebes.

No vale lo que cuesta, la vista es muy linda pero la música muy fea, muy alta y el dj se la pasa viendo a las mujeres de fea manera. La comida no es mala pero cuesta como si fuera estupenda.

The views are amazing and the food is nice! The problem was the service, we asked to change our table because we were cold and they told us that the downstairs area was closed and there were no more tables available. 30’ later they changed our table but we asked 4 times!

Es un lugar muy bonito, con una vista espectacular, y muy buen servicio. Los precios no son bajos, pero sin lugar a dudas vale la pena visitar el lugar.

Fancy rooftop with a view to the heart of San Miguel. Great ambiance, large variety of drinks and superb service.

Tiene una vista hermosa de San Miguel, tal como lo aseguran, y el lugar está muy bonito, pero el servicio no es óptimo y los meseros son poco atentos. Mi esposo pidió whisky con agua en las rocas, y el mesero llevó el whisky derecho.

I can not speak for the food, but the service is top notch. The service staff here would do well in a Fairmont anywhere in the world. The liquor selection is extensive with some hard to find tequilas and mescals. The cocktails are imaginative and delicious. My wife's tasted boozy and mine did not, but they were both delicious.

Excelente lugar, super atención del mesero que nos atendió, fue muy amable y servicial. Dicen que hay que tener suerte para entrar por qué es un lugar de moda, pero corrimos con suerte. Mixología muy buena y novedosa, algo cara, pero muy buena, la pizza que pedimos muy buena y los churros deliciosos. Mi esposa y yo pasamos un rato muy agradable en la terraza, con vista a San Miguel y una tormenta de fondo.

La vista de noche no es tan buena ta que el alumbrado de los ediciidos de interés a lo lejos es deficiente desde esta ubicación
