Mare Nostrum Restaurant

Llevo años yendo aquí. Finalmente me sentí obligado a revisar después de leer algunos de los comentarios más antiguos. Nos encantó Mare Nostrum por la comida, el servicio y el ambiente. Pero no confíe en mi palabra, pruébelo usted mismo. ¡Pronto!

Excelente servicio y comida! ¡Muy recomendable! Pudieron satisfacer mi alergia a la caseína y los platos principales de pasta y pescado hechos a mano son fantásticos.

Los platos de pasta eran excelentes en este restaurante italiano. Los precios son muy razonables y el personal es amable.

Pésimo servicio. No aceptan tarjeta de crédito y lo anuncian en un letrero escondido que nadie ve. Se le hizo la sugerencia a la mesera de advertir a los comensales antes de ordenar la comida a lo que ella respondió, sencillamente, que es responsabilidad del que usa la tarjeta el preguntar si se acepta o no pagar de ese modo. Además, no nos daba servicio, como éramos los únicos comensales, desaparecía por largos períodos de tiempo y, en general su actitud era seca, prepotente, cortante y hasta grosera. El lugar tiene precios de restaurante de cierto nivel pero instalaciones de quinta con goteras en el baño y un escusado como para tirarlo a la basura. Es una pena que la cocina tan rica que preparan ahí pierda todo mérito por culpa de estas arbitrariedades.

La comida es rica, pero llevo 2 semanas pidiendo una factura, que después de leer las opiniones creo que no me va a llegar, pésimo, por estos detalles no se regresa.

Best Italian food in town with reasonable prices. We checked like 6 other places and food-wise they all are loosing.

Shrimp and salmon pizza was delicious. Perfect crust and fresh seafood. Maybe too much cheese, but most would disagree. Can be shared by two. Nice frothy cappuccino. Al fresco dining available. I will come again.

Muy bueno y están al pendiente de los clientes, te recomiendo un calzóne y una margarita o mojito a pesar de ser alcohol, dan una buena combinación.
-no hay estacionamiento, así que a buscar antes, te recomiendo que vayas con tiempo para que disfrutes su azotea donde tiene una increíble vista

Pésimo lugar, nada familiar literal si llevas niños no te dan servicio por que ellos dicen que es un ambiente peligroso para los niños.a si te da la bienvenida la Hostess que es una amargada y grosera, todo esto lo comento por que a mi me pasó y lamentablemente me corrió con mis pequeños y me ofendió. Tengan cuidado con esa mujer y cuiden a sus hijos de ella

No hay pago con terminal, el servicio es algo malo y además nunca recibí mi factura. El lugar es bonito y la comida rica.pero el servicio deja mucho que desear.

We really liked this place located near our house. The menu is interesting and quite varied though it is Italian. The seafood was quite good and well-prepared as were the vegetables. Drinks are good and with a good wine selection. Great little place!

This place was so delicious! The food was so good we started out with some garlic bread and then moved onto our courses all three of us there got something different and we all loved it! Actually I loved mine so much that I got a second portion to take home. We all had pasta dishes but one of the neiboring tables had some pizza that looked delicious as well. The atmosphere was cosy and intimate and the service was very friendly. The server spoke English very well and put up with our haphazard attempts at spanish with grace only gently correcting us. I would recommend that you go to this place if you have the chance!

No nos quisieron atender que porqué "no teníamos reservación" cuando sólo había dos mesas ocupadas.

El mesero/hostess iba a preguntar que "si nos podían atender" cosa que jamás hizo y nos siguió ignorando.

La primera vez que fui, excelente, la segunda, pésimo servicio.

Muy buena la comida! Comimos unas deliciosas pizzas sentados en la terraza.

Recomiendo el lugar.

Excellent homemade Italian food! Ate there on our way to central bus station. Food was delicious, service impeccable. I highly recommend

The food is good+ to very good and well-presented. The garden area is very pretty but I've only been seated in the bar area. It's really the service that's been off. Once we ordered a bottle of wine and they brought the bottle, opened it and didn't tell us they substituted another wine entirely because they didn't have the one we ordered. The 2nd time I went they told me to pick a table in the bar area. I sat down and a few minutes later they asked me to move to a different table because they were expecting a party of 6. I moved to another table. The party of 2 was seated at the table I had been sitting at. I think they cater to regulars because there were a lot of them who came in and glared at me sitting at "their" table.

Thought this was the best pasta I've had in SMA. Bar none. We had fettuccine Bolognese and fettuccine ai fungi. Both extraordinary. Green salad was enough to share, super fresh, only wish they had dressed the salad instead of us mixing the olive oil and balsamic brought to the table. Excellent service. We will be back!

Excellent food and service, but the portions could have been bigger. Wonderful garden setting. Pricing fair for SMdA for what you get.
