Excelente comida y excelente servicio.
He estado viniendo aquí durante años.
I don't miss a chance to dine here when I visit PV. I love the food, the atmosphere and the view of the city. Ask for a Mexican coffee as your dessert!
We came via a recommendation. The view was fantastic and the waiter was very attentive Though I do not know why he tried to be funny and it came off as insulting. I do think he did not mean to be insulting. The food was ok we had shrimp. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had garlic shrimp. Only 4 shrimp were on my plate. They were jumbo shrimp but I could not taste the coconut flavor. It tasted like deep fried shrimp. Not very exciting. The garlic shrimp were also 4 jumbo shrimp. Nothing exciting. For the view I would go there again. Not for the food.
Such a beautiful place that overlooks PV. Food was delicious, service was spectacular. Went here to eat to make our last night in PV special and it did not disappoint!
This sometimes forgotten gem was a real treat tonight. Wonderful views of the city with a great ambience. Our service was great and the food was really amazing. The seared tuna was just delicious and the portions were very generous! The passion fruit margarita was also really delicious! I really recommend you give this place a try.
Great experience and food. A bit isolated to get a return ride was only issue, ended up walking down steps to main road for a taxi.
Excellent service, a family business that’s been offering a delicious menu for over 50 years. The view of PVR from the top is stunning.
An amazing experience. Table of four had seafood with Spanish coffee for dessert. Exceptional service from the start - very personable and tasty. 9.5/10
I was first introduced to this restaurant in 1995. No visit to Puerto Vallarta is complete without a dinner visit timed to watch sunset and the town light up. Margaritas and wine are good. The food is always good and ample. The seafood platter is a great way to try a lot of different dishes. The coconut shrimp is huge. The dinners come with traditional rice and sautéed vegetables and toasted bread. Try the spinach salad and the French onion soup. Save room for the banana dessert and fire show to make it. Ladies check out the quaint restroom with the tiled bathtub. The price for a wonderful dinner is reasonable.
Very disappointing experience. Far from a fine dining place. Should be described as casual restaurant with a view but then the price wouldn’t match.
As appetizers I had the “tuna toast” with “fresh mango” that would better be described as a few tostadas with cubes of tuna and mango on top. Mango was partially frozen, so not fresh, tuna was irregularly cut and the bit of guacamole on top was oxidized already.
Some buttered toasted bread was served on the side but was cold already
I ordered the Palomar fish for the main. The fish was tiny and over salted, trenched in a cream sauce and topped with a mix of shrimp and scallop pieces and calamari - probably also from a bag from the freezer. The blanched vegetables on the side were cold. You could easily make a better version at home.
Skipped on the desert at that point to save myself another disappointment.
Service was alright but nowhere near where it should be given their ambitions. Didn’t clear the extra set at the table until they served the main and didn’t bother when I told them the food wasn’t good. I had better service at some taquerias in town.
I don’t understand the mixed reviews…Only Cash is accepted for tipping but you can pay your bill by credit card! I love the ambiance of this place and customer service was the best we experienced in Puerto Vallarta so far…Great views of the city and delicious food and drinks. We all ordered different types of cocktails and they all tasted super good!
Prices very reasonable compared to other restaurants that had a view of the town and bay.
