Pool is not heated, so no one can swim, it’s freezing, charge 15 a night for wifi, water never hot for a shower, and food always always cold. Not a lot of selection when wanting to eat, and it’s cold. So far away from town, it would be 45 dollars to and from, for a cab ride to shop. Worst experience ever, I always stay at the Marriott resort, and unfortunately they were booked this time around.

We stayed from 8/12/18 to 8/19/18 on the 11th floor.
PROS:
The view from our enormous balcony was nothing short of spectacular. I've never seen a balcony that big. The panoramic view was incredible from all directions. The hotel provides kayaks and snorkeling gear free of charge. The breakfast was incredible. I hate to say it, but that's about it.

CONS:
The property sits in between a major street and you could hear the cars and truck noises every time they go by. It was very annoying and could not relax as you anticipate to hear the ocean waves.

The ice maker in our room, a ceiling fan, and the balcony jacuzzi light didn't work. After letting the concierge know multiple times, it took 2 days for someone to actually come by. The repair guy said he'll have to order the parts and will return the next day. I waited extra day and the concierge even had the manager come by. Finally the ice maker on the refrigerator was fixed along with the ceiling fan. However, the balcony jacuzzi light was never fixed and it was ignored. I wife told me to just leave it alone.

A guy served us food at the pool referred me to as a "Chinita" He didn't even had the decency to refer me to as a "Chinito" They consider themselves a 5 star hotel and use racial slurs at their guests.

On day 5, I got a big gash on my big toe while coming out from the cove at the beach. I was cut by a rock. That evening, after ordering room service, my wife and 2 other kids got really sick with severe diarrhea and vomiting. We had to call in the house doctor who mentioned food poisoning and prescribed antibiotics and other medications. We had to pay for everything. When speaking with the manager, she only said it could be from anything.

When checking out, I paid the balance in cash, which was already charged to my Amex card. I was told they will be issuing a credit to my Amex card in 15 days. After 30 days, I had to file a dispute with Amex in order to get the credit, while providing all my receipts.

Final thought;
A reputable resort should be where a guest can come and relax and enjoy and glad that they stayed there.
While people try to focus on the looks and the atmosphere, they tend to overlook the most important factor, the customer service.
While Garza Blanca placed at 5 star resort, I am baffled having experienced disappointments and ordeals I was left with.
There always is going to be a small percentage of victims no matter where you go, however, when you're the actual victim, you may feel and see things a little differently.

Along the way, I would like to emphasize the exceptional services provided by Jorge and Pedro at the property.

Awesome. Almost paradise. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location. What can I say? We love it. That's why we bought into the time share.

I hope you're having a great day today. The staff was very nice and helpful. The place was very clean. We came for a tour and saw beautiful rooms. They bargained and asked for a seventy thousand dollar membership, and said we would get benefits, but didn't. It's mandatory that you bring your credit card to the place so that you can get something in case you like it.

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary with Garza Blanca Preserve Resort in Puerto Vallarta and all I can say is, "Wow! What an awesome time we had.truly special. I've only been at a 5 diamond resort only once, but I must say it was an amazing experience. Loved the staff and how friendly and helpful they all were. We honestly felt like royalty thanks them, as you could tell they wanted only to make our experience one to remember forever. I must admit that I was a little nervous going to Puerto Vallarta as I do not speak Spanish very well at all, but was extremely pleased at the fact that almost everyone speaks English inside of the resort and outside

The rooms, faculty, amenities, and sceneries were second to none. The excursions that are offered are enough to keep you busy for those who don't just want to hang out at the hotel and will keep your days full of activities in addition to those offered at the resort. We did the boat tour to Yelapa (a beautiful fishing village only accessable by boat built into the mountains.which is a must!) Where along the journey there were two additional stops for kayaking, diving, swimming with sea lions, snorkeling, beaching, hiking, with photo ops. Of our travels and stay thus far, this is now our number one place to be, and already planning a trip back.sooner than later.

Also, if you find yourself at Garza Blanca in Puerto Vallarta. It is also must and spend time in old Town (7 minutes from the resort). You'll love the people, food, entertainment and shopping. Fully Experience the culture.

But the resort itself is an amazing Paradise, with breathtaking views and natural beauty throughout the resort. Congratulate yourself, strap in, and enjoy the ride if you choose Garza Blanca for your stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Scammers. We were lied to, pressured, and insulted. If someone asks you to visit, don't. Unless you like people being fake-nice to you just to get into your pockets. Also, the man trying to sell us the bullsh*t, was extremely rude when I originally said no. This place should stop building, or change their attitudes and sales tactics.

This is our first time staying at Tower 5 and it is incredible. Simply Divine. Like something out of Town & Country, Mexico Edition. Everything is luxurious, the furnishings are top-notch and the design and accessories are very very beautiful. I would highly recommend this property for a vacation of any length. The service is exceptional and Ana and Marisol, our concierge team are lovely and very professional. Horacio, our Member Services representative is also very helpful and committed to Excellence.

Will not be staying here even as a last resort. One of their employees was standing outside of a restaurant by the name of Mr. Cream Pancakes located at Marina Vallarta. He was offering trips to a water park and on a ship to go see playa las animas.turns out it was all a scheme.he sold us the water park tickets, which were $300 pesos per person that was a total of $1500 for 5.we went to the water park and the price they were selling them there was $200.he made us pay him $900 upfront and the remaining at the water park.he steals reciepts from his work place and uses them to Pretend as if we’re guest at the hotel and are receiving a discount on their behalf but in reality he’s stealing our money as tourist. He even offered us a boat ride that was not true at all. If this employee is scamming people who knows what other schemes happen within the hotel.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff, and beautiful ocean views, but at times noisy with sounds of equipment and chain saws buzzing all day. Also, concierges are there to sell you time shares. They are very charming and good at what they do so unless you know you want to buy a timeshare, just smile and say "No, gracias! ". They will offer you some kind of gift for taking the tour, like tickets to an evening excursion. Our friends did it. We'll hear back from them later. Sales reps from Vidanta, the real estate company, accosted is before we even got out of the airport, plied us with Tequila shots, and tried to sign us up for an excursion if we agree to let them take us to their property and listen to their pitch. We didn't go, but later we heard that they keep you all day while they try to sell you. Don't fall for it.

Friendly staff and great service! We really enjoyed our stay and being able to open the balcony door and listen to the ocean every night! The included hike excursion was awesome too!

Great food, drinks, pools, staff, rooms, activities.everything! The sea kayaking and hiking excursions are both highly recommended (and more intense than I expected them to be).

OUTSTANDING! We fell in love with Garza Blanca from day one. We stepped it up and stayed in one of their amazing 3200 sq ft 2 bedroom panorama rooms the first time we visited and it was breathtaking. I took my girlfriend there to propose and they setup a wonderful, private dinner for us right on the beach with a candle lit walkway and chef at our side. It was perfect. We got married there a year later right in the same spot. The staff is always so happy to please, the food at the 4 wonderful restaurants is 5 star and our concierge Marisol is always there to help us with anything.what a fabulous place to stay.

Everything about Garza Blanca is amazing. The rooms, the food, the service, the location. I can't even explain how amazing this place is. Expensive but worth every penny! Take me back!

Amazing service! Wonderful hosts! Friendly! Small, yet lovely beach. Lots of fish in the sea. Fun amenities. Please buy binoculars for the bird watching tour guides. Food OK.

Amazing service. It is as if they took every problem you've ever had in previous hotels - and made.every effort to prevent them. Great facilities. We had a huge place for three of us and almost never wanted to leave the room. This is a great place to stay - 15 minute Uber from the city.

Love the resort! We come almost every year! Fantastic staff, everyone is so helpful and friendly. All inclusive has gotten a tad expensive though. We found we spent less on food and drinks than what we had actual spent on all inclusive each day.
