Hotel De Mendoza

This hotel was my home base while I worked in Guadalajara for 8 months. The location is fantastic and the staff was even better. Food was consistently good and rooms were clean. I will go back again and again.

Wonderful restaurant, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Reasonable prices, and in walking distance of central Guadalajara.
Have been back again and again, and love this place.

The hotel is in a nice central location and has an attractive lobby. However, we had numerous problems with our room. The carpeting was torn, the bathroom and shower grout was cracked and had visible mold. The room fan would not turn on, and the hair dryer started smoking when we turned it on. We complained and got moved to another room.

We had bad experience, the first room in first floor had carpet torn as soon as you walk inside the room, awful small of drainage and shower did not drain. We complain and they change our room to little better room, but still smell mold really bad and the furniture is old and not comfortabl, I try to use the hair dryer and almost cut on fire.
This place needs a total remodel. Do not be deceived by the looks on the lobby.

Myself and 7 other people stayed at the Mendoza for 4 nights in the middle of October, 2018. It is very secure. You cannot go up to the
rooms unless you insert your room card in the elevator.
Very centrally located. We walked to several locations and felt perfectly
safe.
The restaurant has very good service and excellent food. I recommend the "Mendoza Fish dish".
The staff at the Mendoza were so very helpful and informative. We asked for a van and driver to take us to the beach. Alehondra recommended a very good company. I cannot say enough about how
nice they all were and did everything they could to make our stay a good
one.
The housekeeping stay is wonderful. The rooms are very nice. Everyone there is just great!

Es una de las mejores opciones para quedarse en el centro de Guadalajara. La atención del personal te hace sentir realmente bienvenido. Las instalaciones están muy bien, con las habitaciones limpias, amplias y equipadas con lo necesario, aunque yo recomiendo las que cuentan con balcón al patio. De la piscina, ni que decir, está genial. ¡Altamente recomendable!

Le doy 2estrellas solo porque su ubicación es muy buena muy cerca de museos e iglesias. (Muy Centrico).
Por mejorar- las habitaciones y el baño muy pequeño por el precio que ofrecen. Colchones, sabanas y almohadas duras.
Te despiertan a las 9: 00am que solo para checar y tocan y tocan hasta que atiendes. Esto en fin de semana (Sabado-Domingo). Solo pido hagan algo con esta situacion.

Hotel ya de algunos años, habitaciones pequeñas, camas pequeñas, en la regadera sin agua caliente, servicio bueno, ubicación centrico, bares cerca pero la noche se escucha mucho ruido del exterior en las habitaciones

Solo hubo un detalle que llegan a tocar la puerta alas 8: 55am que para "checar" solo dicen asi y no dejan de tocar hasta que te levantas abres la puerta y te dice la ama de llaves solo para checar y en sabado

Todo exelente y muy buena atencion al cliente te ayudan asta para conseguir un transporte si bas a salir a pasear o te retiras como huesped

Es un hotel colonial, pequeño, con muy buen servicio, bien ubicado en el centro y sin ruido de trafico.

Bien ubicado. Personal atento por desgracia incompetente no solucionan nada. Alberca con agua helada. Presumen de seguridad y dejan pasar a cualquiera me robaron en la zona de la alberca (exclusivo para huespedes) y el personal como si nada. Restaurante con poca variedad y caro, ineficiente su servicio de facturacion. Muy decepcionado del hotel.
