Hotel Grand Paramar

Habitaciones bonitas, servicio y desayuno buenos sin embargo el espacio donde está la alberca no me gustó, por el precio esperaba mejores instalaciones. La playa está cruzando la calle pero se veía sucia y muchas piedras.
El día que estuvimos había mucha gente y niños por lo que si esperas un rato tranquilo ésta no es la opción. No regresaría.

We travelled from Canada and this being our second visit to the Paramar Hotel and Boutique I can honestly say if you’ve never been you’re missing out. We have access to every convenience under the sun and trust me there is plenty of sun. There’s a wonderful restaurant right across the road The Barracuda and a great Canadian sports bar within 100 yds being Captain Dons. The Malecon is a short 8-10 minute walk on either the beach or just down the street. There’s a grocery store where we just picked up a 10 oz T-bone steak for about $10 and they also have many local delicacies as well as any staples you might need. Do watch for crazy drivers tho because here the cars have the right of way so don’t assume the cross walk is safe. Take your time you’ll figure it out. The local vendors are busy trying to sell you things but for the most part they’re polite and respectful. Totally safe here I mean I’ve felt more intimidated in Canada than here. We’re here through Easter this year and if you’ve never experienced the 14 stages of the cross go to the Malecon and observe. It is horrifyingly realistic but so beautiful and poignant and definitely a must see. All in all this place is magnificent and I truly couldn’t imagine anywhere better however I will say that inflation has definitely reared its ugly head here like everywhere else but still worth every nickel. Oh by the way the beach out front has a few stones on it but for the most part it’s truly amazing and lots of locals and tourists alike. Just frickin fantastic. Can’t wait to come back

Construction noise from 8am-4pm nearly daily. We stayed in rm201 which was the closest to the construction and it sounded like they were drilling into our wall.

Luckily for us, we like to be active on our vacation so the construction noise wasn't a big deal. It usually acted as our alarm clock and by the time we came back to the room they were either done or finishing up. We likely wont go back to PV, but if we do we will stay at grand paramar again.

Heading back to the states but wanted to highly recommend The Paramar Hotel in 5 de deciembre. It was a great place to call home for a week. Got the best of all the things, beach, local life, food, relaxation, and comfort.

We had a premium room - room 308 for my family of 4. It include a King and 2 Queen Bed with full kitchen, tons of storage, and big bathroom. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, and one of my favorite features each room has its own wifi access.

Mainly picked this hotel for its location. The beach is right there in the center of the bay. Easy walking to all the things, 4-5 blocks to the Malecon, about 1.3 miles to romantica. Just a couple blocks from the Ley grocery store, one block to a laundromat, pharmacy, and just tons of hole in the wall restaurants and street vendors.

Hotel had a great free breakfast. It was mainly mexican style dishes but had French toast, waffles, pancakes, eggs etc.all cooked to order. My favorite was the croquet Vallarta.

Super easy to get taxis in this location or catch the bus.

Has a roof top pool that is good for hanging out and catching some rays while enjoying an amazing view of the ocean. Not very big but it worked for us. They have a bar and small food menu as well at the roof top with good prices.

Be sure to understand your rate they have one rate that includes cancellation and one that doesn’t.

Staff was fantastic especially Kevin who took extra care of us.

This has been our favorite place to stay in PV and will look to come back in the future

Excellent service. Great people. Friendly. Helpful. Clean place to stay! We had everything we needed. Good location. Block from grocery store. About 5 or 6 blocks to downtown action. But right across the street is the Barracuda bar and restaurant. Great place. Even though it could get a bit loud, it was not loud inside our room. Highly recommend! There is a little bar on roof top pool area. Best chips and guacamole. Great drinks too!

Muy recomendable el hotel muy limpio y cómodo. El personal es muy amable y en lo personal vale la pena hospedarse ahí. Like like

El desayuno era muy muy poco y nos quedabamos con hambre

El hotel es pequeño, pero bonito y muy limpio, el personal en general es amable, esta muy cerca del malecon y cerca de muchas tiendas de alimentos y restaurantes, la habitación no tiene buena vista al mar, nos tocó en el 1er piso, de ahí en fuera todo muy bien, el mobiliario prácticamente nuevo, el baño bonito aunque no tiene extractor, no probamos el desayuno, el área es pequeña y cuando bajabamos estaba lleno, la alberca esta en el último piso, limpia y desde ahí, la vista de Puerto Vallarta es muy bonita, tienen taxis al pie del hotel o puedes pedir por app, también llega comida por la app, tiene aire acondicionado la habitación y enfría de lujo. Hay que cruzar la calle para pasar a la playa.

Están demoliendo una casa a un lado, hay obras y el ruido era insoportable por momentos, fuimos a descansar, pero no pudimos hacerlo por las tardes, no creo que terminen pronto de hacerlo, se ve que van para largo, la tv no tiene señal de tv abierta y tampoco pudimos ponerla por el box, solo jala netflix y otras apps.

I do not recommend staying here unless you have travel insurance. Our flight was delayed by a day and I called to tell them I was coming a day late and I got hung up on. When I arrived the next day I was told I didn’t have a reservation there. I called Alaska, who I booked the hotel through, and they tried calling them and they hung up on them as well. I called them a few months before the reservation to try and get a room with two beds instead of one and was also hung up on then. After a month of going back and forth through Alaska and the hotel, the hotel denied me a refund. I would not recommend staying here at all.

No lo recomiendo para nada, no esta frente al mar. Ni tiene playa directa. Ubicación fea y peligrosa. No hay restaurante en la alberca. Todo es mentira de lo que venden en la pagina web. Muy mal. No vengan aqui.

We loved it …. Wonderful staff and very clean throughout. However, would have liked an ice machine, better TV to include American and Canadian stations, upgraded furniture in the breakfast area.

Very inconvenient! Super long check in/check out process, almost made me late for my flight. Deposit only returned in local currency cash, which is useless if you are leaving the country after check out.

Es un lugar muy bonito, limpio, cómodo y con excelente atención, hicieron de nuestro viaje en pareja una experiencia inolvidable, tiene excelente vista desde la alberca y acceso a la playa, te brindan mobiliario para disfruta de la playa, un lugar grato y cómodo.

Acabo de visitar el hotel junto a mis amigas en una despedida y la pasamos increíble, el personal es super amable y atento, el hotel es pequeño pero tiene justo lo necesarios, las habitaciones son muy grandes, bonitas y nuevas, la comida de ambos restaurants nos sorprendió. Tiene acceso muy fácil a la playa y el malecón a 4 cuadras. Sin duda lo voy a recomendar y volvería a visitarlos.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THE PARAMAR! We stayed here for 6 nights in the master suite with ocean view. The suite has one king size bed and two queen size beds and was very spacious. Each room has an equipped kitchen space with a microwave and refrigerator. The room was very clean when we arrived and it was cleaned everyday. We were close to many small shops and only a 10 minute walk to the malecón. The hotel is right in front of the beach and you are allowed to borrow chairs and umbrellas from the front desk. Lastly, what truly makes the Paramar special is it’s staff. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. They recommended places to visit, tours to take, and provided directions and useful insight before visiting each place. Huge shoutout to Bianca and Carlos in particular. The staff at the Paramar are the heart of this hotel and make it what it is.

We loved our stay! Staff was friendly, everything was very clean, rooms were very nice, the view from the room was BEAUTIFUL, breakfast was yummy, and everything was nicely updated.

The Paramar was a fantastic hotel, particularly for the value received. I traveled for a friends trip, and it was great to have 3 beds (2x queen 1x king) in a single room. The entire hotel was very clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was a really good amenity. The location is a little far from Zona Romantica, but a heck of a lot better than staying at the more expensive resorts further north. The walk up there along the Malecon is great, so not really an issue. The rooftop is nice. Sadly, the pool was closed when we were there but the drinks and snacks up there are nice. Overall, a great place at a great value.

Horrible Customer Service. My flt cancelled in June due to no pilots & bad weather, my family couldn't make the trip, it wasnt our fault. They charged my CC $400 anyway. Didnt even ask if I could come o another date, would never book them again or recommend. Lack of professionalism. I own a business and would never ever be non empathetic under any circumstances.
