Unfortunately had a bad experience here. Ordered 2 pairs of shoes matching for our wedding and paid a deposit. A few days later we returned and they were different colors and one shoe was the same sole but a massively larger upper. He refused to refund the deposit… offered to remake shoes but at this point didn’t trust he would get it right. Said it’s hard to make custom shoes (but it’s the whole point of the store). Refused to refund the deposit and said we could still take the pair that fit (but we wanted matching) said he didn’t have the money but pulled out his wallet to give us the 50 pesos difference in deposit and cost of shoe we took, and low and behold he had 1,000’s of pesos. Could have easily stood behind his brand and craftsmanship but instead chose to force the sale of one. I’d say go in and purchase what he orders from other factories and do not order custom made.

Stopped in on a Tuesday to get some shoes. Owner said he didn’t have my size but would make some by Saturday. Stop in on Saturday and ask about the shoes and the owner doesn’t remember. Worker behind him made a bit of an “uh oh” face. Went inside with a different worker and he apologized and asked if he had given me a card or anything. He had. He apologized again and said that the owner is forgetful because he gets hungover a lot. They then said that he doesn’t make they don’t make the shoes themselves and that he could have someone drop off two pairs in the size I needed by 6 o’clock. Kinda defeats the purpose. Bad experience overall. You could tell the other workers felt bad

These guys seem good. I got my sandals for 400 pesos. The stitching was a bit messed up, so I went back the next day. We waited a while for him to fix it. He came back, but it was a bit mangled. He just gave me new ones as a replacement.

This is a legendary shoe store and custom workshop. If you want to buy leather shoes in the Zona Romantica, this is the place to go.

Best place in PV for handmade sandals! The shoemakers can and will tailor make sandals for you if you show and tell them what you want. The finished product is so worth it!

Wonderful place with a master artisan. They create their products on site. Wonderful to see them at work.

This shoe store is the best in town, the people are nice and hard working people.
They have a diversity of options and very good customized hand made shoes.
Next time you visit PV you have to stop by at this place and ask for Marco Antonio he’s a nice guy.

My wife needed a repair on her sandals. Fixed right on the spot. Over the years i have purchased sandals here. Good quality and price.

Purchased sandals and they fell apart in less than a month. Low quality materials. I wanted to really like this shop but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired.

The thread disintegrated, the leather straps broke and the heel wore down quickly. They are basically useless after a month of daily use

Really great quality and tons of styles to choose from. We picked up a pair of flip flops and slip on sandals and the price was $850 mxn or about $40 usd. $20 a pair for beautiful handmade leather sandals is a great deal in my mind. Absolutely stop here and support this local business.

I bought a pair of sandals here 5 years ago. Best made sandals I have ever owned. I just wish I could contact them to buy another pair. I am in Canada and they are in Mexico.

Great shop with cool owners. I picked up a a beautiful pair of woven leather huaraches and a belt for a great price. Then we sat around and talked politics for a while until we all got fed up with idiot politicians in every country. Highly reccommended.

Awesome experience! The gentleman was very good fitting my daughter with her petite feet. He modified sandals already made and we were on our way in 30 mins.

Hand made leather for 350 pesos!

Found a great pair of dress sandals for my linen suit and had it custom lifted one centimeter for my leg length difference. Very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent leather products. Belts are well made. We have bought many belts here, Some twenty years old, still look nice and are are still working.

Marco and his team are there to give you the best hand made shoes. My first pair of shoes I wore for 32 years. They make an excellent shoe. The place is a bit confusing to look at but once you know what you are looking for they can fulfill your need. English is spoken well here

These guys have attitude and don’t keep their promises. I strongly suggest that you buy your leather goods anywhere else.
I took a pair of sandals to get fixed and they told me it would be a week and $150 pesos for the work. They even said they’d call if they were done sooner. A week and a half later I show up, the work is not completed and they tell me that’s it’s now $250. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Best place to score huaraches in Vallarta.
It could use some organization, but I think it adds to the charm
