Excelente lugar. Me gustó el concepto de jardín. Su comida es muy rica. Si buscas algo diferente para comer y beber este es el lugar indicado. Gastronomía alemana.

Wonderful food and art. Very adorable cat. Love the choices of spreads with the bread. Won't lie, love the owners attitude towards bad reviews as well.

The food and place are awesome, the service is slow and they have a little secret discount not announced only applicable if you want to pay with card and you accept to change it to cash

Si lo tuyo es la comida alemana este es el lugar, la carne de cordero muy rica, ojo si no te gusta la carne de cordero no la pidas ya que la mesa que estaba al lado de la mía pidieron salchichas de cordero y las dejaron porque según ellos sabían raro

We've eaten at Johanna's twice and pick up carry out from them frequently because we live close by. 4 star is because the Mexican version of German food is off the mark by a lot. Otherwise it would be 5.
If you go expecting true German cuisine, you will be disappointed. They do, however, have some German beers.
That said, the food is tasty and the service is good. Salad dressing is a vinaigrette with caraway seeds, so if you have a problem with little seeds, ask for no dressing. The sweet and sour cabbage has a good balance. I've only had the sauerkraut once, but, as I recall, it was very good. The milanesas are excellent.
Sauerbraten was not to my taste, but certainly prepared well.
In addition to German food, they have some Mexican standards, usually on the daily specials.

I used to love this restaurant, the setting great, the food good and service efficient. But yesterday the food was lame. The bratwursts, used to be 3 pieces of varied sausages, now it was just one, and it was not fully cooked. The Weiner schnitzel was terrible. It came out too fast which makes me thing it was pre-cooked. It was tasteless, no caper sauce, just some cold capers thrown in top for decoration. The potatoes looked like breakfast leftovers, bland no seasoning on them. The salad had no dressing and even the German slaw was just tasteless. Nothing was tasty or hot, not even the bread. The service was non existing. The girls were more about chatting with each other than taking care of us. When I asked for the bill, they asked that their tip be left in cash. It was a joke, I will not be back!

Lugar muy agradable, buena atención, muy bien sazón y presentación. Alimentos de muy buena calidad

Buena comida pero muy diferente, no es para todos, el Goulash sabe muy bueno y tiene cierto parecido a la barbacoa del norte de México y la salchicha Bratwurst esta buena pero he probado mejores. El lugar por fuera está muy bonito, el precio es muy accesible.

De entrada probamos los caracoles y el queso camembert. De plato fuerte el cordero y el salmón. De postre el strudel y un café.

¡Todo muy, muy bueno!

Además el lugar muy agradable.

El vacío está rico, el pastel de chocolate lo mejor, solo estaba un poco salado la pechuga de pollo. El lugar está muy bonito

Uno de mis lugares favoritos, la comida es de buena calidad y basta, los precios son proporcionales con los productos que recibes. Amplio surtido de cervezas no solo alemanas sino artesanales y nacionales, aunque mi recomendación será que te animes a probar las alemanas, son deliciosas. Si no te decides por un platillo en particular te recomiendo el combo de salchichas, nunca falla, está buenísimo. Y del lugar te puedo decir que hay al interior y exterior del restaurante, es tranquilo y apacible.

Comida deliciosa, precio calidad va de la mano, la atención es excelente y buen tamaño de porción quería pedir un postre pero termine muy lleno.

Deliciosa comida, muy bien servida. Lugar lindo y agradable en el jardín.
Seguro regresaré por el postre porque no me cupo, ya que las porciones súper bien!

La comida es de regular a buena, nada espectacular. El servicio es lento. Hay que llevar paciencia.

The food is delicious and not expensive vs the taste, flavour and gourmet.the escargots you have to try as well as the Lamm (Lamb) it is a must visit if you are in la Floresta (Betwen Chapala and ajijic closer to Ajijic)

Servicio en general muy lento, actitud fría y desinteresada. Porciones pequeñas. Precios altos en bebidas y postres, con relación a la competencia.

Un lugar agradable con ambientación hogareña. Con una variedad en el menú de pecado, carnes vacunos y porcinos, a hasta caracoles. Sin duda comida alemana de calidad y una carta de cerveza alemana y nacional exquisita. También. Puedes pedir una carta de postres (no son muchos pero son los necesarios para enaltecer la gastronomía alemana). Sin duda volvería a ir para probar todos los platillo.

The food was really good here. The bratwurst was served with two delicious sauerkrauts one was tangy and one was sweet and also potatoes. I would go back to try their other German dishes. Service was also friendly and efficient.
