Las Sabilas

To describe this jewel as an oasis is an understatement. It is a living work of organic art under the careful stewardship of two beautiful caretakers. Each "room" has a theme that surrounds the core garden that was once a motorcycle repair business.

Incredibly convenient to the heart of Guadalajara, this property is a bargain for that reason alone. But add it's breathing organic vibrancy and you have a rare experience indeed! In Guadalajara you never know what lies on the other side of an entrance door. Just make sure and take a deep breath before crossing this property's threshold or else you will lose it when feasting on the sights and heart of this gem.

What an incredible place and host! After a somewhat stressful trip here we all immediately breathed a sigh of relief when we walked through the door. Gorgeous oasis hidden away in a busy city. Rooms beautiful. David is gracious and helpful. Will be staying here again in the future.

Las habitaciones son sencillas pero acogedoras, las áreas en común están hermosas sobre todo la de la alberca. Es un lugar para olvidarte por un momento del resto de la civilización

Bellísimo, en cuanto entras te transporta a otro lugar como si estuvieras fuera de la ciudad, habitaciones cómodas y el lugar es muy relajado, perfecto para escaparte un día a descansar

Great place to stay. Very tranquil oasis in the center of Guadalajara. Loved drinking their local coffee in the morning in the tropical garden and afternoon swims in their pool. Room was clean and comfortable. Great Location. I will be back.

I’ve stayed in many different styles of accommodations around the world, but Las Sabilas will always stand out as an all time favorite.

To describe it in one word would be a dishonor. It’s magical, serene, and defiantly utopian.

Immediately upon entering, you are surrounded by incredibly beautiful gardens, fountains and an atmosphere that will make you forget that you’re right in the center of the historic district. Sitting by the pool, there’s not a sound from the outside world; it’s as if you’ve entered your own tropical paradise far from the chaos of a city.

The owners were both on site when we visited and full of “off the beaten path” advice, and Eric, the host, couldn’t be more helpful.

There’s no question I will be back, Las Sabilas is without a doubt a destination unto itself!
