Had a great experience from start to finish! Super professional and accommodating. Stan and Benjamin made sure the fishing trip worked for me since I was on my own. Paired me with another great dude and we had an awesome day with a great crew! Super amazing views and caught a bunch of fish. Awesome super fun time!

I've been selecting Master Baiters for every aspect of Puerto Vallarta even for information about some other cool stuff to do in Banderas Bay, they just have the right sports and people to connect you to any kind of delighted that you wan't, as for the fishing they just know how the fishing games happen around the area they got all licences and everything to create a perfect time for anybody that wan't to have a challenging and exciting moment on the ocean.

I have been using Master Baiter's for the past 20 years. Always catch fish, always a great captain and crew that speak excellent English. Looking forward to our trip in April. Stan, get ready my friend.

All of the group caught a mahi mahi tuna! They prepared ceviche right on the boat and took you to a restaurant to prepare the fish you caught. Highly recommend!

These guys gave us a great day! We caught a Marlin and Maui Maui, (El Dorado) remember prices are negotiable. My only issue was the Mexicans wanted to eat all our fish. Don’t touch my fish! We spent the whole day on the water and was treated to lots of dolphins jumping about. The Marlin we caught took little over 2 hours to reel in, but what a rush and a great day!

I went in to Masterbaiters to book 3 days of fishing. First of all I must say Stan is like a used car salesman. He’s arrogant, doesn’t run any of the boats or is a captain on any of them. When he started to tell me the prices of the boats and was going over things, he then began to talk about the very high marina prices and how it’s $2000 for a 45 ft slip (not including power etc.) ya right! He says he won’t jerk you around, but that’s all he was doing. Jerking up the prices. I know this because I grew up around boats and marinas my whole life. He would rather tell his stories about how great he is and what tournaments he has won, but won’t get to the point. His prices are double of everyone else’s prices at the marina. And worst of all is he thinks he’s gods gift to fishing and the ambassador for Puerto Vallarta fishing. Yet he doesn’t own or run a boat out here. Please save yourself a headache and fish with anyone else. This guy will rip you off and treat you wrong. Read the other reviews, they speak for themselves. Check out yelp. Horrible things said. The guy seemed great at first until his true colors came out.

We did a 10 hour trip in March 2018 and caught a striped marlin and sailfish, which exceeded our expectations. Stan met us at the marina and got us onto our boat. Language was not a barrier and we had a great time with the two man crew. During our trip we saw whales and porpoises. We scheduled a six hour harbor trip a two days later and caught plenty of Jack Crevales.

Will use them again this March 2019. Love their name and tee shirts. Pictures on my desktop and using my laptop. Maybe Stan can post them?

Spent an entire day out on the water. Not one bite. I could have done that myself. An utter waste of money. Would not use them if I was paid to do so.

I would highly recommend, I have fished with other companies for years in PV and Master Baiter’s has been my best experience and best value.
You can trust Stan, he’s focused on the fishing and has lots of options for boats. He posts regular, accurate fish reports on his site (nobody else takes the time to do this)

Every time I go fishing in PV I book with Master Baiters and always have a positive experience. Sure some times the fish are not on the bite but I always know the captain and crew are up for fishing and not just a tour around the bay. I will be back in town this November and I hear the fishing season is starting early. Hasta pronto amigos!

We paid $440 dollars for an 8 hour charter into deep water fishing. Once we had embarked on the boat, we were approached by the captain to change or extend the itinerary of our trip. When we declined to extend the trip (for additional money) for an additional hour or to significantly change the trip to less than what we had paid for (bay fishing instead of deep water fishing), the captain of the ship (Scooby) began to insult myself and my wife for the next 8 hours in Spanish. The captain did not realize my wife speaks Spanish and called her a puta and me a cabron the entire trip. These are very very impolite words and made my wife incredibly uncomfortable and sad for the duration of our trip. The owner (Stan) of this business offered no apology or made up for it any way. So if you want to be called names behind your back when you dont't give into demands for more money, then this is the place for you. Their motto is we don't jerk you around, but sadly this is all we got.
