Mercado Emiliano Zapata

Este es un pequeño mercado que vende productos, carne. Genial si estás comprando comida, no es realmente un destino turístico.

Tuve un excelente almuerzo de enchiladas y pollo a la milanesa. El jugo de naranja recién exprimido fue maravilloso.

Great market, we pop in Weds n Fri when things are the freshest, fruits, vegies, bakery, butcher, etc.

Un lugar muy hermoso y pintoresco donde se encuentra de todo, se come riquísimo en los locales. Recomendado.

My favorite market; and a great place for a cheap delicious home cooked Mexican meal. It's right in the middle of the market.
You'll walk past the freshest variety of vegetables, meats and fish. EXPLORE!
Then settle in where the long tables are.
It is all family run and menus are on the three kitchen's counters. Pops will take your order, or just let the chefs know what you want. Order a fresh orange juice.

My favorites: CALDO des Res (beef soup with lots of vegetables), enchiladas, chicken milanese

One of my favorite places for daily needs. Great little Mexican food counters, butcher, fresh seafood, produce etc.

A hub of activity. Enough fresh fruit and vegetables to satisfy every palate. Fish and meat vendors as well. I'm not sure about the prices but in other mercodos in the area the prices are close. One thing I did notice is that the carneceria (butcher) here was selling pork ribs for 110 and I bought amazing ribs from the carneceria in 5 de Diciembre for 85. So maybe a bit pricier in Zapata because it's got more tourists. A must see if you're use to farmers markets.

Si quieres variedad frutas y verduras, pescados y mariscos frescos y comer rico Agusto y barato. Aquí lo vas a encontrar.

Great local shopping for fruits/veggies. There is also cheese and meats. Don't forget to get tortillas there. Freshly made!

En este mercado encontrarás muchas cosas, desde comida prepara hasta los ingredientes necesarios para un platillo. Te recomiendo que ya que estás ahí te tomes un rico tejuino lo encuentras afuera del mercado.

The Real Deal local market, where restaurants and local people alike are shopping for their needs. Can be busy at times, but everyone's friendly and helpful. Fresh produce at very cheap prices, what's there not to like?

Menudo, caldos, huevos. Todo lo que se te antoje estilo mexicano ahí lo tienen, super buen precio y limpio

Mercado que tiene de todo, generalmente siempre fresco. Deliciosos tejuino afuera, solo el problema es el estacionamiento continuamente este lleno.

Buen mercado encuentras de todo, carnicerías con carne de buena calidad, fondas con desayunos muy ricos, fruterías con verdura buenas, bonita y barata; semillas y cereales con todo lo necesario para la cosina, tortillería y tienda de bisutería.

En éste mercado encuentras todo tipo de comestibles a precios muy accesibles, atienden a clientes extranjeros también pues hay gente que habla ingles y si no por lo menos entienden al turismo muy bien

You just feel like you are in Mexico when you come here. I recommend arriving early to beat the crowds and get your pick of the goodies before they disappear.
