La comida no es de 5 estrellas de ninguna manera, pero el servicio y las instalaciones son fantásticos.

Un saludo específico para Omar el camarero junto a las piscinas de Secretos. Nunca dejó de sonreír, siendo complaciente y amable. Me hizo sentir cómoda y nunca me presionó por nada. ¡Ojalá hubiera podido traer a Omar a casa con nosotros solo por su energía y positividad! ¡Trabajo asombroso!
Otro debería ser para Eddie, nuestro mayordomo personal en el lado de los sueños en la sección preferida. Estaba lo suficientemente cerca pero sabía mantener la distancia. Estaba literalmente a 1 mensaje de texto de distancia y habría hecho cualquier cosa que necesitáramos. ¡Creemos que se lo merece todo como humano y mayordomo de hotel! Trabajo perfecto:)
Sobre todo, si quieres una zona libre de niños, quedarte en el sueño no es eso. SIN EMBARGO, puedes pagar $50 más por día para tener acceso VIP que te permite ir a ambos lados para acceder a la zona de piscina gratuita para niños. Me alojaría de nuevo, esta vez probablemente en el lado de los secretos sólo por razones de conveniencia.

La habitación del hotel estaba muy sucia y tenía moho negro. Había suciedad en cada interruptor de luz de la habitación, había un olor a mosto mezclado con moho y moho, y ambas bañeras tenían marcas de color marrón oscuro en su interior. En lugar de trasladarnos a una nueva habitación, como habíamos solicitado, primero actuaron confundidos y mencionaron las cortinas del baño, en las que no había ninguna habitación en el área preferida. Para resolver esto, nos dijeron agresivamente que enviarían al ama de llaves y cambiarían lo que fuera necesario o encontrarían otra opción para nosotros. La habitación todavía olía a moho y nos dijeron que tampoco había otras habitaciones para mudarnos. Esa es la gota que colmó el vaso para mí.

Las bebidas estaban aguadas y nunca supieron como se esperaba porque los clásicos elaborados aquí tenían recetas diferentes por alguna razón. Como si el amaretto sour viniera con jugo de naranja y licor de naranja… no.

La comida era a menudo incomible y poco apetecible. El servicio siempre fue lento, independientemente de estar en un restaurante o pedir servicio de habitaciones. Además, como vegetariano, es frustrante no solo tener opciones limitadas, sino también que esas opciones estén demasiado cocidas o quemadas, no sazonadas y en porciones más pequeñas.

No estábamos nada contentos. Evite este hotel y alójese en otro lugar si no quiere regatear y discutir por un mejor servicio en un "resort de 5 estrellas". Hablaré de esto con la compañía de mi tarjeta de crédito tan pronto como llegue a casa. Esto es inaceptable.

Estaba mirando mis fotos y me di cuenta de que nunca había dado una reseña cuando fuimos con mi familia.

Este es un Resort de primer nivel que no querrás perderte, la variedad de comida es increíble, el servicio en sí te deja sin palabras.
He estado en otros resorts en Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, Cancún y este es, con diferencia, el mejor en el que he estado.

Altamente recomendado. Nuestra habitación tenía una vista increíble, no puedo esperar a volver

Teníamos una piscina para nadar. Me encantó. Cierran las piscinas muy temprano en los complejos turísticos y de esta manera pude nadar cuando quiera. La comida era buena en el restaurante mexicano, aunque no me gustó mucho el desayuno buffet. Las camas eran cómodas para mí, aunque mi otra amiga dijo que fueran suaves para ella. Intentan que te comprometas con un recorrido gratis, pero no querían que los molestaran durante las vacaciones. ¡Te abastecerán si no apareces jajaja! Buen lugar en general.

Muy buen personal del resort es excelente, Omar en los bares es particularmente bueno ya que habla muy bien inglés y es muy amable y brinda un excelente servicio, yo personalmente trabajo como barman y ambos nos hacíamos preguntas constantemente sobre el servicio de barman, por lo que claramente es muy apasionado y dispuesto a mejorar a pesar de lo hábil que ya es. El único inconveniente que diría es que la piscina no se limpia lo suficiente y, al hablar con los lugareños, los mexicanos no reciben un servicio tan bueno como los turistas.

Las puertas del baño están rotas y la del balcón no cierra. No había toallas ni batas en el cuarto cuando llegamos. No respetan reservación en los restaurantes. El hotel se ve del lujo pero ya está dañado y no se ve bien mantenido. El servicio es peor que un hotel de 3 estrellas, mínimo eso cumplen con un estandard mínimo. Hay niños gritando y el ruido de la alberca se escucha hasta el noveno piso.

The bathroom doors are broken and the balcony door does not close. There were no towels or robes in the room when we arrived. They do not respect reservations in restaurants. The hotel looks luxurious but it is already damaged and does not look well maintained. The service is worse than a 3 star hotel, they at least meet a minimum standard. There's children screaming and the noise form the pool can be heard from the 9th floor.

El hotel es muy bonito. Los cuartos enormes, todo muy limpio y la atención del personal buenísima. Tienen varios restaurantes: uno donde hay buffet para las 3 comidas del día, uno Italiano para la cena donde no se aceptan niños y tienes que reservar, uno ubicado a la orilla de la playa que es a la carta y uno Tailandés donde también tienes que hacer reservación. Hay una barra de snakcs que funciona casi todo el día y la comida es buena. Cuenta con muchas albercas y jacuzzi. La playa también es muy bonita. Tiene una cafetería que trabaja 24/7, Kids club todo el día hasta las 9: 45 pm, Casino, Spa y demás. Muy recomendado.

I got married at Now Amber on December 1,2018 along with our 104 guests. We didn’t get ANY special treatment at the resort. In fact, I had booked us a couples massage, and the resort double booked us. We booked a rehearsal dinner with family at Castaways the night before the wedding. We showed up with our family and they hadn’t even reserved us a table. After all this confusion, I thought I’d make sure that our private dinner on the beach that I had made a reservation for was actually booked. They had no reservation scheduled. So, I decided to call the spa to confirm my wedding party's hair/makeup. They had this reservation booked at the wrong time (about 2 hours before my ceremony was to start).

The food at the resort was great EXCEPT on our last night. We ordered a lobster. I kid you not, we got a shrimp. The manager at the restaurant apologized to us, saying that the chef was "too lazy" to grab a lobster from the freezer. We waited over 1 hour for this to be prepared.

Unfortunately, some of the guests paid for preferred, and did not receive them. We were suppose to get a room upgrade with our wedding package, but of course, that didn’t happen either. The biggest downfall for our room was the ice machine. Every morning at about 6: 50am we were awoken by staff digging through ice. You wouldn’t think that this would be loud, but it legitimately woke us up EVERY morning. My sister-in-law had to get a new room a couple days in because the room was infested with worms (termites, I believe). They moved them to another room, but unfortunately they had the same issue.

As for the big day, I was pretty upset the day of. Now looking back, I know it was a beautiful day. I want to point out that this wedding cost us a LOT of money. I expected things to go off without a hitch, as I had everything specifically planned with Pamela (wedding planner) for so long. Our external guests had an extremely hard time getting into the resort, even after talking to Pamela about this the day before. My husband actually had to leave the wedding ceremony to help them get in, as the resort continued to tell them that there “is no wedding today”. I paid $120 USD for each of these guests for external entry. Secondly, after all the planning I did, we did not have enough tables/seating for the reception. For the ceremony, the saxophone player was suppose to play a specific song. This did not happen. In fact, the stereo system actually cut out as I was walking down the isle. Also, Zumba started the same time as our ceremony. I specifically asked the officiant for NO sand ceremony. Sure enough, we still had one. There was no AUX cord for the stereo system (we paid $300. USD for this). Thank god we figured out how to hook it up with Bluetooth. We didn’t even get pens for our guest book. Our microphone ran out of batteries during the beginning of speeches, and when we got ready in the morning, the resort took over 1 hour to send our champagne to the room after asking for it prior to (we ended up missing it entirely). Needless to say, our photographer was AMAZING. His photos were beautiful, and he was so helpful the day of the wedding and wore many hats.

Overall, our biggest complaint from guests was the cleanliness of the rooms. Some guests didn’t get their rooms cleaned until 5: 00pm. Some didn’t get their rooms cleaned daily whatsoever. I found that even after cleaning the rooms, the floors were filthy. We had to wash our feet in the bathtub before putting shoes on.

On the beach, the service was good. I have never been to a resort that was worse for Panhandlers. Also, their website specifically says that they have boogie boarding which was a HUGE reason why they we booked the resort. We soon learnt that there was no such thing.

When confronting the resort with our issues, they basically told us that we lied about everything and defended themselves for all the wedding issues. The other issues were not addressed. They said that it was our fault for not complaining more during our stay. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

We held our wedding here and had an amazing experience. The rooms are very nice, all overlook the Ocean with a balcony and are large. You can hear the ocean waves from the rooms. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and also spoke English. The food was good and the drinks free flowing. The resort is close to the down town area so
you can walk (20 min) or take a taxi ($5). Quiet and relaxing atmosphere with live music at night. Highly recommend this resort!

Loved every minute of this resort. If I could bring everyone I know to this resort I would. It's an amazing experience and beautiful resort.

Have dinner at the beach, take a class, walk the beach. Enjoy your room with an ocean view as the waves put you to sleep and wake you every morning.the only thing I hated was the sellers on the beach haggling me for a sale. If they could keep the sellers off their property it would make for a much better experiance!

We went for a week in a junior suite with ocean view. The hotel is advertised as 5*. It is a really good hotel but not 5* more like 4*. A few things were missing from the room as advertised but soon got replaced. Staff were really good and catered every need, 24hr room service, 5 restaurants, all really good except for the buffet which 3* at best. Pools were all clean, lots of activities for all ages, right on beach. Didn't use the casino or spa but told from other users were also good.
One big down side was the constant harrassment from sales people. People trying to sell spa sessions, day trips, beach sellers that weren't moved along, time share sellers, skin specialists, non stop.
Also I tried to book an upgraded room originally only to be told none available. Yet when arriving first thing I was asked was if I would like to upgrade for an additional $2200. I explained I wanted to do this originally for less than half that so no thanks. Then was offered it for $1000, I didn't take it. Everyone else I spoke with had the same experience. We was also told we would have to wait for our room but while we were waiting we could chat with our own personal consiage. He spent nearly an hour trying to sell us day trips. I explained we just wanted to get to our room to change and freshen up. Then we were asked to meet with someone else the following day. We didn't go, there were others there for over 2 hrs for another sales pitch.
The whole week was nonstop, it didn't spoil the vacation but it would have been better without it. I had to be mean in the end to get a point across.

Halfway through a 2 week vacation. This is the 2nd consecutive night with music blasting from outdoor parties outside the Preferred club and 7 year old daughter cannot sleep at 10.30pm. So far, there have been 3 of these loud outdoor parties (arranged by hotel), so expect loud parties every other night.

Been to many all inclusive hotels. Extra cost for this hotel is as follows;
$200 extra a night for preferred club, which supposed to be quieter. They are not.
Wines are terrible, but they will happily sell you better bottles at cost.
Sun loungers all get reserved by about 9am, as stated on other reviews. When I asked about why they do not do anything about this, or provide extra loungers, they said I can pay $55 a day extra to use the double loungers that cannot be reserved.
Big sell on the 'unlimited club' which is extra money timeshare/frequent visitor reward. Didn't buy as not coming back after bad experience.
Liquor is poor quality, but they wheel around a cart of better liquor, of course at extra cost.

Food is not great. Buffet restaurant is usually quite empty as very repetitive. Best to go out on Friday nights, as they close some restaurants for Mexican night - a buffet in small space with long line ups.

Been to different hotels in Peurto Vallarta and other Mexico resorts. All better than this.

Paid $12,000 for luxury family vacation over Christmas. It certainly did not live up to expectations.
Avoid.

Staff fantastic.drinks great.room was good.only downside is they promote as adult only which it is but over half the restaurants can access are on children's side and nightly show is on kids side. No nightclub on site.

Extraordinario servicio y lo mejor es su restaurante francés. Su restaurante mexicano es bueno hasta ahí, deberían elevar su cocina ya que es uno de nuestros portales para el turismo extranjero, que por cierto es como el 90% en el hotel. Sugiero estar al pendiente de sus ofertas. Su página de internet es excelente ya que te facilita a hacer tu paquete de vacaciones con avión, que te da toda una serie de opciones de vuelos y precios.
