Bahía del Sol Beach Resort

Alquilamos apartamento F10. El apartamento que alquilamos necesita una reforma importante y estaba sucio. La cama es horrible (el colchón tenía un agujero en el medio) y las encimeras son tan altas que pensarías que el apartamento está hecho para un gigante.

Además, la dueña, Maru, nos cobró $ 4000 pesos por la limpieza semanal obligatoria y nunca vino ninguna ama de llaves a pesar de que lo pedimos. Ella nos acosó con mensajes de texto amenazantes durante toda nuestra estadía por varias razones. Por ejemplo: Trató de echarnos 2 días antes a menos que pagáramos más, trató de que pagáramos un colchón nuevo cuando mencionamos que necesitaba ser reemplazado, por nombrar algunos.

Hemos estado alquilando condominios en México cada año durante más de una década y esta ha sido, por mucho, nuestra peor experiencia.

Sin embargo, la ubicación es maravillosa. La piscina y las áreas comunes están impecablemente limpias y la playa es hermosa. Hay algunos restaurantes y un mercado cerca, por lo que es fácil moverse a pie. Verdaderamente, un excelente lugar para vacacionar si no espera un condominio súper lujoso y si NO alquila el condominio de Maru.

This condo complex is right on the beach in Nuevo. Processes a lot of charm. Very good restaurant called Guido's facing the ocean.

I love Bahia del sol. It was one of my family's 1st venture to Mexico close to 30 years ago. Nuevo Vallarta was just starting and Bahia was and is just a little resort. It's a no frills spot that is bordered by mega resorts and condos now. It's simple and affordable. Great beach w massages on the beach for cheap. Most the owners are long timers and some full time residents. If ya need to be pampered, not your place. If you wanna taste of Mexico and want simple this is for you. Also a turtle sanctuary just down the way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for laid back Mexico. Also a plus good Italian onsite and great lil taco joint across the street.

Esta muy tranquilo el ambiente y relajante.
Lo único que no lo veo muy adecuado es intendencia.

Como siempre llevo 4 años vaxaxionando aquí y esperamos seguir visitando lo por mucho tiempo. Pregunten por Manuel González un tipazo muy buen servicio.

Me gusta mucho este lugar, muy tranquilo, se descansa rico, agusto, si no le doy las cinco estrellas es por el servicio de limpieza, las chicas muy mala actitud y solo con dinero te tratan mejor, mal servicio.

Tranquilo y cómodo, un excelente lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de la Playa en Nuevo Vallarta

El lugar está muy bonito, amplió y muy muy limpio, por el precio y la zona recomiendo el lugar!

A la orilla del mar, con una amplia playa, alberca, restaurante.
Habitaciones cómodas con aire acondicionado.

Un lugar muy bonito
Muy tranquilo, se disfruta el mar, y a la vez la comodidad en un mismo lugar

We were very happy to stay at Bahia Del Sol. Xochikt and her crew are amazing. Everyone from front desk to the grounds people were so kind, always smiling, and eager to please.

The room was awesome. Room D9 is renovated with marble. It is a one bedroom with 2 fantastic marble huge bathrooms, such a bonus. There are two trundle beds in the living room. The kitchen is big with many cupboards and things needed to cook etc. Big double door fridge.amazing.

Rita our cleaning lady was wonderful and kept the place top notch clean.
The large bedroom with tons of built in closets and dresser was huge and clean. The king size bed was comfy, with soft sheets. The mattress was medium, as far as soft or hard. But of course everyone has a different need for a mattress.

We love that we didn't need the air conditioning, which is remotely operated (cool), but we had a front bedroom window and the ocean slider at the other end in the living room and the cross breeze all day long was just beautiful.

The furniture is great. Last but not least a huge balcony with table and chairs and the most spectacular view of the well maintained grounds, huge clean heated pool, and the huge stunning walking beach. The sunsets from this room are crazy beautiful. See our pics

Room for improvements, as there always is that.
More lounge chairs, more little tables, and more umbrellas
The umbrellas are too small and the base not big enough so they blow over in the afternoon wind. One fell on my husband but no damage. I would suggest for safety bigger and stronger. They also had to be held open with nails we couldn't open or close them on our own. This is a very small problem but this is suggestion for improvement.

But all in all, the most amazing place and we will be back in room D-9 next year for sure.
