El Sueño de Mita

Al pasar una semana en corral del risco tuvimos oportunidad de probar los restaurantes del pueblo, honestamente como local los precios están muy inflados y el sazón es muy promedio para lo que es la comida mexicana. Es bueno si eres extranjero y te quieres dar una idea, pero por los precios que tienen mejor ve a un restaurante frente al mar, terminas pagado lo mismo o menos pero con mejores vistas y opciones.

Pidan el menú actualizado ya que a la hora de pagar te cobran más por platillos que pediste por que los precios están “incorrectos en el menú” tanto digital como impreso.

Have eaten there several times and all of our meals have been delicious every single time.

Really wanted to like this place (and went twice to give them the benefit of the doubt), but the food is extremely underwhelming and the portions are very meager. Staff is nice, but that’s about it.

Nice staff. Food was great. The guacamole was a bit boring. Hence only 4 stars. But the enchiladas and the soup which they made vegan on request was great.

Quite pricy for Mexico, but we had good service and a nice lunch. A torta for me and quesadillas for my partner.

The service at this restaurant is top notch and I would rate it as one my of favourite taco places. Staying in Sayulita so have tried quite a few different places. The Baja fish tacos are.

We found this restaurant to be very good, with good staff and great atmosphere. You cannot go wrong ordering the margaritas during happy hour, which was 5-7 pm.

Relatively new place off the beach. Second time here. Really good food. Less focused on seafood than some of the beach front places. I like the cochinita pibil and the queso. Definitely worth a try.

No visit is complete without a trip to El Sueño. Renee's hospitality and love filled home cooking make you feel like you are visiting with a Mexican Aunt. Really great food and wonderful service.

We came here on Valentine's day. Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly service. The fresh fruit drinks and lemon pie were a special treat.

I would go for the Baja tacos, made with the classic avocado crema that I missed so much in Puerto Vallarta.

Take a walk from the main drag and try something new.

Such an authentic place! If you are looking to try on a home made Mexican food this is the place! The owner is super nice, all the stuff is attentive and pleasant. The food was great, pork tacos are most to try. Will come back

Food and vibe was great and a welcome change from the upscale and expensive places on the beach. Our margaritas, though delicious and creatively made, were small and weak. I’d eat here again but skip buying drinks. And I wouldn’t consider it a good value— the prices (as at most restaurants in PdM) are high for Mexico. We spent $60US for dinner for two.

This place is very underrated prices are reasonable and the quality of food is good there are some calories pretty good too I highly recommend you try it.

Truly incredible experience. Some of the best food you can find in PV, Punta Mita, or Sayulita. Couple that with an owner who cares deeply about her food/drinks. This isn’t the touristy restaurant on the beach but you can find that all over the place. This is a true hidden gem that you’ll thank yourself for going to.
