Hotel La Quinta del Sol

Acabo de regresar de una estancia de 14 días en el maravilloso Hotel La Quinta del Sol. Creo que fue mi sexta o séptima estadía de varias noches en los últimos 3 años. Considero este lugar como mi hogar lejos del hogar gracias a su increíble ubicación, el maravilloso servicio de todo el personal, incluidos los gerentes Nico y Mary, quienes manejan este lugar como una máquina bien engrasada. Aquí todo se mantiene meticulosamente limpio, Nico siempre tiene trabajadores retocando la pintura cuando sea necesario, puliendo los azulejos, lo que sea. El lugar luce encantador e impecablemente limpio en cada visita, especialmente la magnífica terraza de la azotea que ofrece increíbles vistas de 360 ​​grados de la playa, la bahía y el pueblo. ¡Sin duda, la mejor relación calidad-precio combinada con habitaciones y comodidades de primer nivel en Punta Mita!

Este hotel tenía exactamente el ambiente relajado que buscábamos al reservar nuestro viaje a México. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias, las camas muy cómodas. La vista al mar es preciosa y siempre sopla una agradable brisa. Las áreas de descanso al aire libre, incluida la terraza de la azotea, fueron una agradable sorpresa y definitivamente las utilizamos. Nos encantó poder ir y venir en cualquier momento con las tablas de surf de alquiler en el conveniente garaje de abajo. La pequeña ciudad tiene fantásticos restaurantes y tiendas. Si amas esta parte de México pero no la intensidad de Sayulita o los pegajosos centros turísticos, ¡esto es para ti! ¡Sin duda volveríamos otra vez!

No visite el lugar, sino el acceso a la playa, que se encuentra a un costado, pero los escalones no los recomiendo para gente con problemas para caminar o tercera edad. Está muy cerca del faro de corral del risco, buen lugar para castear con señuelos.

Verdaderamente un lugar increíble para hospedarse con vistas increíbles, excelentes habitaciones amuebladas con toques encantadores y dos anfitriones/gerentes del hotel (Mary y Nico) que hacen todo lo posible para ayudar a sus huéspedes. Un miembro de mi familia enfermó gravemente mientras estaba de vacaciones en México y terminé necesitando ser hospitalizado. Yo y otros miembros de mi familia volamos inmediatamente para estar con nuestro pariente enfermo. Cuando llegamos a Punta Mita fuimos recibidos en el hotel por Mary y Nico. Fueron extremadamente compasivos con nosotros y nuestra situación. Nos ayudaron a extender nuestra estadía con poca antelación, se aseguraron de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos durante nuestra estadía y nos consultaron sobre la condición de nuestro pariente enfermo. Fuimos muy afortunados de poder quedarnos juntos en este hotel, ya que estaba a poca distancia del hospital cercano, y estaba tan bien administrado que nunca tuvimos que preocuparnos por nuestra estadía y pudimos concentrarnos completamente en el cuidado de nuestros familiar en el hospital. Las habitaciones del hotel están limpias, las salas de estar de la azotea son increíbles y tranquilas, y la ubicación no podría ser mejor para acceder a la playa y disfrutar de una excelente comida. Definitivamente estaremos planeando un regreso en el futuro en circunstancias más felices. ¡Este hotel merece 6 estrellas de 5!

Perfect as always! Nico and Mary are so great and will do everything they can to make your trip an incredible vacation. There are several reasons to choose this property over others, but we particularly love the private beach club area steps from the front door, as well as the roof top area with lounge chairs giving you the best view in town! It's also great to have surf boards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and beach chairs/umbrellas available on site for daily use. The rooms have everything you need to make it feel like home including AC, fans, bottled water, and a fully stocked kitchen. Not to mention a great private outdoor dining area for each room. The housekeepers and grounds people are also incredibly welcoming and courteous. We will 100% be back for a 3rd time!

If you are searching for really something special to surf and relax? This is the place! My wife and I had a really great time. You are directly at the beach, directly at a great surfspot with funny waves, pelicans and turtles swimming around you. The rooms are clean and really big, you have your own full equipment kitchen and if you need anything the lovely managers Nico and Mary are there! Also the owners are so nice and friendly, was such a pleasure to meet them. We can definitely recommend this place, but only for nice people

We absolutely loved staying here! Nico and Mary were warm and welcoming from the start, we felt at home immediately. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and have great air circulation during the day. We only used the AC at night! The location is perfect, couldn’t be much closer to the beach and surf break, and the top patio area has an amazing view. We highly recommend staying here and will be back in the future!

Our stay couldn’t have been any better. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating. The hotel itself was very pleasant. The room was very clean and spacious with our own outdoor lounging area. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and fridge to make use of. The terrace on the top floor is awesome with the available hammocks and sitting areas. You get to watch beautiful sunsets from up there and also have a view of the beach. The location was great. A surfing beach right across the street. There are nearby restaurants and shops both walking distance and a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Quinta del sol and would stay again in the future.

This is my third time taking a vacation at La Quinta del Sol and it was just as relaxing and great as always. This was my first time staying there with Mary and Nico as the Managers and they were wonderful. They helped us with anything we needed or any questions we had. Wish I could have stayed for much longer.

Staying at La Quinta del Sol was one of the best decisions we made when booking our Punta de Mita trip. We traveled with our 2-year old son and were welcomed and taken care of by Nico, Maria and the wonderful/always smiling/ever helpful daily housekeeper (didn't catch her name.she's a real gem though). The property is in the best location in town- step out your door to evaluate the surf and grab a board from the garage. Beach chairs provided, sand toys, SUP boards, etc. All at easy access and in good repair. The views and breeze were amazing from the second floor. Super clean rooms with full-ish kitchens were such an asset. We cooked breakfast daily and were in a great location in town for quiet, less touristy dinners. Don't hesitate in staying here!

La Quinta del Sol came highly recommended to us by some friends from home, and our expectations were exceeded. Nico and Mary were wonderful - so gracious, helpful and welcoming - they organized a snorkeling/whale watching trip for one of our mornings (it was a spectacular trip!) ; hosted a relaxing, fun potluck dinner for the hotel guests with freshly caught fish; and helped with finding the bus to take us back to the airport at the end of our trip. Even recommended a fantastic restaurant just outside of the PV airport!
The hotel is perfect! Our room was spotless and spacious, with a full kitchen (complete with fresh water - a huge plus!), a super comfortable bed and an awesome air conditioner. The hotel's private beach is just across the street, with hammocks, chairs and shade. Views from the rooftop terrace, as well as from the open areas in front of all of the rooms, are spectacular. As an animal lover, having Nico and Mary's cats to pet was a nice bonus.:) Honestly, I felt like I could spend the rest of my life there - that's how much we loved it!
We were very sad to leave, and are already planning our next trip to La Quinta del Sol. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

If you love quiet, low key pitch perfect accommodations, boutique (7 rms), amazing hosts, there is no better place! Niko and Mary are outstanding. Spotless, efficient rooms, comfortable beds. Hotel La Quinta del Sol is NOT for the 4 Seasons crowd. It is for those of us who love sand in our toes, unsurpassed sunrise and sunsets over the bay, in-village vibe, sharing common space with equally fortunate guests, and a hot shower after playing (SUP, soft surfing, snorkel trip) in the sea. Cannot wait for my next trip!

We stayed here in January 2019 and we loved it. The place is so quiet and chill. It was nice having a kitchen and we enjoyed breakfast most days on our patio overlooking the water watching the birds and the boats. The beach club and swimming across from the hotel were great. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It was our first time in Punta de Mita and we really loved the town - so many restaurants and such friendly welcoming people. Highly recommended!

We were lucky to find this hotel in our favorite vacay town, Punta mita! You won't regret staying in this hotel. 30 sec to the beautiful beach where you can swim, surf and eat. Also, close to the main town. Lovely chill owners who provide an excellent customer service. Will def go back!

Hotel La Quinta del Sol is the spot to stay in Punta de Mita if you are a surfer or traveler looking for a great time.

The owners and managers are super friendly, the rooms have ocean views, and there's a fun wave right out front!

Even better they have a rack of surf boards right at the hotel and you can rent boards of all sizes.

Absolutely. Perfect. Beautiful, quaint beach with dedicated chairs, umbrellas and hammocks. Lovely room with everything anyone could need: fully stocked kitchen, AC, great bed, modern bathroom, artistic decor. And it doesn't end there! The rooftop terrace is a haven and has its own kitchen and barbeque. They've thought of everything. Mary and Nico are available for any questions. Restaurants are a short walk away and there is a great market that takes credit cards that has absolutely everything, including a wonderful wine selection. This is the place to recharge and reflect! We will return.

Beautiful views of the ocean. Nice rooms. Secure and clean. Love the patios. Relaxing vacation spot for sure.
