No tengo palabras para expresar lo agradecido que estoy por el equipo de Martoca y su increíble lugar. Mi esposo y yo nos casamos aquí el Cinco de Mayo de 2023 y todavía estoy emocionado por lo mágico que fue nuestro gran día. Mariana es la organizadora de bodas GOAT: es increíblemente receptiva y profesional, entendió cada gramo de nuestra visión y tuvo el ojo y el diseño creativos para llevar todo al siguiente nivel, y fue una guía muy tranquilizadora y útil para nosotros durante toda la planificación.proceso. También es fantástico trabajar con Jimmy, él y Mariana nos ayudaron a superar algunos obstáculos difíciles de planificación no solo para el día de nuestra boda sino también con nuestro bloque de hotel y reservas de eventos previos a la boda en otros lugares. ¡No puedo agradecerles lo suficiente por todo lo que hicieron por nosotros! Cuando encontré Martoca en línea por primera vez pensé que esto parecía perfecto. ¿Es esto demasiado bueno para ser verdad?
Permítanme decir primero: No, este lugar es hermoso y mágico, como se ve en las fotos.

Jimmy, el propietario y todo su equipo facilitaron todo el proceso de planificación. Marisol fue nuestra organizadora de bodas y fue increíble. Ella entendió mi visión (quería mucho color, quería que se sintiera vibrante y divertido) y superó todas las expectativas. Fue fácil trabajar con ella. Pronto respondió a mis preguntas. Y se aseguró de que todo se ejecutara según lo planeado. Y fue perfecto.
Los camareros fueron muy atentos. La comida era deliciosa y fresca. (Y soy muy exigente: quería que la comida fuera fresca y mayoritariamente saludable, ¡así que incluso modificaron sus recetas para adaptarlas a mis gustos!)

No tengo más que comentarios entusiastas que decir sobre Martoca y nuestra boda allí fue absolutamente fantástica. Nuestros amigos siguen diciéndonos que fue la mejor boda a la que han asistido.

I don’t even know where to start! We were looking for a venue that we could truly make our own- and Martoca surely did not disappoint! There wasn’t a single thing that we would change. The flowers, decor, food, incredibly courteous staff, unbelievable wedding planner, and super talented vendors made our special day absolutely perfect! To say Mariana is a rockstar, would be a total understatement! She took unbelievable care of us from the start- was always super quick to respond, had tons of great ideas when we couldn’t figure out details, and most importantly, never said no to any of our crazy ideas! Literally anything and everything we asked for, Mariana and the vendors made happen for us. We had so many compliments from our guests about the incredible staff as well. The attentiveness was what you’d expect from a high quality restaurant, definitely not a wedding. The food was another raved about portion of the evening. It was truly incredible. The presentation was like nothing we’ve ever seen at a wedding. It truly was a day that we’ll never forget, and neither will our guests. If you’re looking for a completely one-of-a-kind destination wedding, don’t waste your time looking anywhere else but here!

Wow! We didn't know it was possible for our wedding to be THIS spectacular and THIS much fun. We originally were supposed to get married in February 2021, but rescheduled to February 2022. As the pandemic continued, we sometimes doubted whether it was even worth it to follow through, but we are SO glad we did.

We worked with Mariana throughout the entire process, and she was always a WhatsApp message or video call away. She truly understood our unique personalities, styles, and particularities right off the bat, and executed to perfection. It couldn't have been better. We also loved communicating with Mar; she's upbeat, to the point, and also a lot of fun!

It was clear on our wedding day that the Martoca team has everything down to a T. From the timing of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, so that guests are never in the direct sun, to the professionalism and efficiency of the service. The food and drink are the best we've ever had at a wedding, and no one had to wait or want for a thing during the entire event. The Martoca team even continuously brought water bottles and took drink orders from the dance floor, so that you never had to stop grooving. The DJ played all our favorite songs and had a great sense of timing and what the crowd wanted. We were dancing all night, which was a huge priority for us. Finally, the late night tacos and churros were to die for and the presentation was impressive, as well! Throughout the whole evening, and the days leading up, Mar was present and available for anything that we needed.

Lastly, we are a gay couple, and we felt comfortable and safe during the planning process and wedding day with the Martoca team. We couldn't recommend getting married at Martoca more. Our guests all said it was the best wedding they ever attended. It is a day we want to live over and over again; it was the most fun we've had in our lives!

Where to begin?

My wife and I settled on Martoca after a worldwide search for the perfect venue. We wanted a beautiful destination wedding that could not only provide the perfect scene to get married, but also the perfect vacation destination for our guests. From our first message with them, we knew it was a match. They respond to messages within minutes, cater to every single question and idea no matter how small, and make you feel as though you’re family.

My sister was married there back in 2018 and after going as a guest, I realized how special this place really is. The sunset views during the ceremony, the smiles on all the staff, and the insane greenery, flowers, and setup make this the best wedding venue in the world.

Because Martoca does everything in-house, the process is a breeze compared to other places where you would have to find your own vendors. They do their own flowers, alcohol, food, cake, setup, and DJ. They are willing to cater to any request no matter how big or small. Wedding day transportation is included for the wedding party and all guests which was such a relief because getting married in a foreign country can be stressful in terms of coordinating things like that.

The wedding coordinator that we were provided, Veronica, is a gift from God! She will work with you from the very beginning until your sparkler send off to make sure every aspect of your day is perfect. She responds within seconds, is ALWAYS available, and makes you feel as if your wedding is the only thing that matters. Because our wedding was during the pandemic there were a million things that needed to be rearranged, and rescheduled. She made it all possible. We were truly blessed to have had her by our side.

In terms of the area around Martoca itself, you have so many options for hotels, beaches, restaurants, and wedding event venues! Punta de Mita offers tons of luxury hotels within a 20 minute drive. Puerto Vallarta offers a massive hotel zone with no shortage of things to do.

We are secretly hoping that one of our guests will decide to use Martoca as their venue one day so we can go back! It truly was the wedding of our dreams and Martoca made it all possible.

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Mariana, Jimmy, and the whole Martoca team and how truly AMAZING they made our wedding day and experience. I am a terrible planner and knew I’d never be able to juggle everything wedding planning entails and, on top of that, Covid happened, and my mom got sick. Jimmy and Mariana were so incredibly patient with me as we postponed the wedding and I pretended none of the bad things were happening (and avoided any planning or decision making). I can’t describe the relief I felt every time I apologized for not being present and avoiding everything only to hear “don’t worry I’ve got it – everything is going to be great! ” from Mariana and Jimmy.

And let me tell you… everything was BEYOND great. I booked Martoca without ever even visiting before the wedding day and I was blown away when I finally got to see it. I basically told Mariana I wanted neutral colors with a pop of blue and she took care of the rest. The table settings, sweethearts table, ceremony, everything was out of this world. The DJ was amazing and the photographer/videographer, Fotografo Vallarta, were incredible. The service was the best service I have ever had anywhere – I never even got to finish a drink before I had a new one in my hand. The food was also amazing – everyone was raving about the surf and turf and late-night tacos and churros. Even my husband who is extremely picky was blown away by how amazing everything was, and our guests kept saying it was one of the best weddings they have been to. I could go on and on about how amazing this day was and how grateful I am to the entire Martoca team, but for now I will be planning on how I can get back there and urging everyone I know to BOOK WITH MARTOCA!

This venue is pure magic! We had the most amazing wedding here in January 2020. Our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to every time they see us. Jimmy, Mariana, and the rest of the team deliver nothing but 5 star in every regard. I would get married here ten times over if I could. If you want the perfect combination of stress free planning, an elegant, intimate beachfront setting, impeccable service, and the best party you’ve ever been to this is the place! Thank you Martoca!

I don’t even know where to begin to review and tell you about the MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE in our lives…but I’ll start at the beginning – (for those reading this, this is going to be long but thorough). On a whim we ditched all original plans we had and decided to explore a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta…a place we had never visited. Jimmy was responsive, thorough, funny, and above all…PASSIONATE. For two people who knew absolutely nothing about planning a wedding we appreciated Jimmy’s guidance, patience, and willingness to answer all 74 of my questions every time I replied to one of his emails. He helped make something very daunting and foreign to us, understandable and was a great guide. I am very decisive and told my (now) husband after the first couple emails with Jimmy that this was our venue. I knew it in my gut and I AM SO GRATEFUL I listened to my intuition. Which leads me to Mar our wedding planner. When we met Mar months after securing Martoca for our wedding I was immediately put at ease. After only a couple hours together at our table trial and food tasting she understood our energy as a couple, my aesthetic, and what was important to us to have on our special day. She was available throughout the entire process via we chat, was patient when I needed more time on something, and just MADE ME SMILE. Let me get to our ACTUAL WEDDING DAY. I am still overwhelmed thinking about how BEAUTIFUL our wedding was (our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they’d been to). Mar COMPLETELY understood my vision, which is ironic because I didn’t even know what my vision was, I just knew what I did and didn’t like and she brought that all together. The florals, the golden hi-lights, the elegant simplicity which allowed the beauty of the venue to prevail (this was important to us), it was overwhelming how PERFECT IT WAS. I still smile today thinking about it. She is an absolute wedding genius, an artist. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how remarkable the food/beverage service was. It was beyond 5-star service (if that is possible). My guests were blown away that they were able to get down on the dance floor and have one of the servers bring them a fresh margarita without even asking or a round (or 5) of tequilla shots. The food was incredible (we had fish and surf & turf) and if you are reading this and planning a wedding I HIGHLY recommend doing a late-night taco stand. Eva was a beautiful photographer and was able to capture the beauty of the venue, our personalities, and the joy radiating from everyone that was there. All in all, I would recommend that EVERYONE gets married at Martoca. If you want a full concierge-style experience with experts in all areas (planning, food, service, florals, photography, DJ) supporting one of the most memorable days in your lifetime…CHOOSE MARTOCA. Jimmy, Mar, Eva and to everyone else that was a part of our day…THANK YOU! Martocos forever! Now…can we do it all over again?

We got married at Martoca in late December 2019 and it was the BEST! We saw all of the great reviews and pictures and booked about 14 months in advance without visiting first. Honestly, everything everyone says is true. We were lucky to have Veronica as our wedding planner and she made it all so easy. I was very hands-off and did not have a clear vision of what I wanted and it still came out beautifully, even on a rainy day. The flowers were to die for and my bouquet was gorgeous. The staff took great care of us especially Veronica, Cristina and Abraham (?). All of the extras are worth it, the mariachi, taco truck and fireworks. Veronica was extremely helpful making sure our guests were able to get cabs at the end of the night (those that weren’t on the bus). We danced our faces off and my friends said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I also highly recommend staying at Refugio Del Mar in Bucerias; so cute and close to the venue. We used Eva as our photographer and had so much fun with the photo booth and props. My husband at the very end said he finally realized how much a wedding that good would have cost us in LA Martoca is the real deal.

Seriously, if the others have not convinced you to book Martoca already, just do it! My husband and I took a trip to PV to venue hunt. We looked at some other venues, but Martoca took our breath away. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS MAGICAL PLACE JUSTICE! Just add @MartocaBeachGarden on IG and you will get a better view of the venue with all of the videos they post. We did the food tasting/table set-up on that visit as well (so worth it)! The food exceeded our expectations, and you can literally design your dream wedding with Martoca, from the style/size of tables, chairs, dishes, cutlery, glassware, napkins, centerpieces, floral design, EVERYTHING. We even decided how the layout of venue would look that day! We were lucky to work with the Martoca team (shoutout to Vero for dealing with my millions of questions, texts, calls, stresses, etc.). They made this process so easy! A few days before the wedding, Veronica came to my resort and went over everything in person. She made us feel comfortable and taken care of. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly! Our guests got to Martoca and were literally SHOOK! Veronica worked with Mayte (the florist) to create a beautiful memorial for our mother and grandmother. They did a great job at nailing my vision, which was to blend our two cultures together (Vietnamese and Mexican). Just like all the other reviewers said, people will tell you that was the best wedding they have ever been to and how amazing everything was (the service staff, the food, the venue, the music, TODOS!). Mind you, all the service staff were extremely professional (an important detail you should not overlook)! We even had a couple at our wedding that now want to do their vow renewals at Martoca! We really wish we could relive the wedding day all over again. It was just so perfect and beautiful because of Martoca and their A+ team. I cannot recommend this place enough. They have all these extras you can add to make your wedding extra special. And yes, you should do the fresh coconut stand, the late night churros, and tacos. And you DEFINITELY should do the fireworks (duh!). This place is the real deal. Stop looking elsewhere. Unless you want your basic cookie-cutter resort wedding, to each their own. I have zero regrets about choosing Martoca and would choose it again in a heartbeat. Martoca holds a very very special place in our hearts. We hope to come back again and do a vow renewal some day as well!

Words cannot express how wonderful and professional this venue and team is. I got married at Martoca on November 16th and they exceeded every expectation imaginable. The entire process from start to finish was so easy and so fun. We booked our date about 1 year in advance (they book up very quickly so plan ahead) then flew out to see the venue in person and meet the team. I communicated with my planner Veronica leading up to our visit and sent her pictures of decor, flowers, and overall layout that I liked. Martoca is very active on Instagram and they post many pictures of past weddings, which was very helpful to see the space decorated in different ways and determine the exact vision we wanted.

Meeting Veronica, Jimmy, and Maite during our visit was so much fun. We toured the venue, tasted from their amazing menu, and saw a sample table setting that they came up with for us. We absolutely loved everything and we were so happy that we booked Martoca! Over the next year, Veronica and I had endless phone calls and text conversations. She was so quick to answer any question I had and always so supportive. I ended every phone call with her feeling very comforted and excited for our big day. She really loves her job and does it wonderfully!

Fast forward to our wedding- we are still speechless. They blew us away with every detail. It was truly the prettiest venue I have ever seen. The flowers were stunning and the tables looked gorgeous. They threw in so many surprises for us that made me cry. Our friends and family are still talking about it. They were in awe of the surprise fireworks, late night tacos and churros, cigar bar, and more. The DJ Martoca provided was absolutely amazing. Everyone danced the entire night. I still cannot believe how phenomenal our day was and I wish we could do it all over again!

Best Day Ever!
My husband and I are still on cloud 9 from our magical Martoca Wedding. We stumbled across Martoca Beach garden in Jezebel Magazine in Atlanta Ga where we live. I had a client that got married there and had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. My husband first received a quote from Jimmy and dates that were available. We couldn’t believe everything that was included in the price. We immediately booked a site visit to make sure this wasn’t too good to be true! Vero was able to arrange for us to meet with every vendor on our visit. We worked with Vero and Maite to created my vision with the table setting and the decor. We also met with the Chef and did a tasting. The food was amazing! We even got to meet our photographer, Eva at AveSol. We chose the W Punta Mita for our guest to stay. We wanted something close to venue but more private.

Vero and Jimmy were so easy to work with and made wedding planning so easy. I can honestly say it was fun! When we walked into the wedding I was blown away! Everything exceeded my expectations. The details they put into everything were beyond anything I could have imagined! They had so many surprises for me! My guest were also blown away an everyone thought our wedding was 3-4 times the amount we paid.
We had fireworks, flowers everywhere, a seated dinner, DJ, tacos and churros for late night munchies, a cigar making station, open bar, and a huge tent!
The fireworks were a hit! My niece said it was the most amazing day and it was better than Disney!
Vero made sure the timing was perfect for everything and I had no stress! I would highly recommend getting married here! I would do it all again! To the same man of course:)
