Cabins Balamjuyuc

Hermoso lugar para hospedarse con una vista hermosa del pacifico. Estuve dos noches en la tienda. Súper cómoda. El lugar está muy bien mantenido, las personas que trabajan ahí son muy amables. La cocina muy bien equipada y la ubicación correcta, a dos cuadras del centro y al lado de punta cometa para ver el atardecer. Y súper económico! Lleven repelente. Gracias por todo! Éxitos!

Gran lugar para relajarse, es un lugar ecológico, habitaciones muy básicas, todo parece un rancho. Lo recomiendo, las vistas son geniales!

Community kitchen, electricity, wi-fi, Friendly dog, “Tiger”, great location for access to both beaches and Comet point. Many trees, birds, squirrels, a sweat lodge and pool. They are short-staffed and no longer run a cafe or bakery so the kitchen is open to use by all.

The view for sunrise and actually during every second of the day is unbelievable. It’s super close to the sunset spot from mazunte as well.

And walking distance to everything you need.
When I was there, there was a Temezcal ceremony every Saturday led by the owner of the place. And this ceremony and ecstatic dance event was one of the most beautiful experiences I had during my whole journey of traveling. One of my pure highlights.

I was there in February this year (so before the storm - and I hope from my heart that it will be as magical as before after rebuilding ️)

Just look at the pictures and believe me: it is Selfmade and beautiful. You just need that and a coconut in your life.

I stayed for over two weeks and loved it here! Great social vibe, gorgeous sunrises every morning, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is great! Lots of bathrooms, and good internet as well (for Mazunte). Highly recommended, I will be back

Excelente ubicación con relación a la vista que te regala, dormir con el sonido del mar en un lugar claramente amigable con la naturaleza es mágico. Precio accesible y anfitriones muy amables.

Tiene cabañas compartidas o privadas. La vista da al mar y está a escasos minutos de la playa y del mirador Punta cometa.

Simple and spare with a spectacular view and close to all of Mazunte, and a great price. My dorm room was barebones but for me a gem. Fay was very helpful with everything including recommending a nearby place when there were no rooms left to stay. Tricky walk down to the beach at the moment due to construction after rain-damage, but you can also use the stairs right next door. The beach at the bottom is spectacular for swimming and body surfing and you can walk down it to busier spots right by the main drag. YMMV, but I was more than happy.

One of the most beautiful views on this coast. Incredible place to watch sunrise and there is a beautiful hike near here to watch a gorgeous sunset! There are sweet tree house style Cabanas. With hammocks.private or dorms available too! The restaurant has delicious pesto paninis and fresh bakery.great prices and sweet chill vibe

Sin duda alguna es uno de los mejores lugares en donde te puedes hospedar si visitas mazunte oaxaca, con su hermosa vista al mar y sur hermosas cabañas, visita mazunte

My family and I loved this place, we booked through Airbnb, it's super cheap, they have a nice restaurant (that's why it's not allowed to bring in food from outside) but there are other near options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. It's very close to Punta Cometa beach and also has stairs that get you into Playa Rinconcito, just be careful specially with kids because some steps are not in the best conditions. There's a camping zone and a little pool for both adults and kids. Restrooms are shared. The view from our room was outstanding, capacity is for 7ish people.

Un lugar rústico con una vista hermosa, se descansa muy bien, por la mañanas se disfruta de un buen café con pan recién horneado disfrutando la vista del mar.
Muy cerca de punta cometa y de los lugares de fiesta en el pueblo, puedes ir caminando hasta ahí.
Los dueños muy amables y atentos nos organizaron una cena con pescado asado, papas asadas y ensalada, tú puedes pedir lo que quieras del asador ellos te lo consiguen.
Te sentirás como en casa si amas lo básico de la vida.
Gracias a los dueños que terminamos siendo amigos.

Grandioso lugar, buen precio para la vista que ofrece, las atenciones son muy buenas, desde su mirador los amaneceres son espectaculares, además de poder pasar el rato sentado o en sus hamacas, el camino a la playa por las escaleras es entretenido, a medio camino a punta cometa, las regaderas y baños compartidos siempre están limpios y en buenas condiciones, así como las habitaciones.

Tuve el honor de acampar en balamjuyuc. Es hermoso! Como referencia, te bajas en playa el rinconcito. Las cabañas, el camping están detrás del panteón.
El personal super amable y atento. Me esperaron hasta última hora y respetaron la reserva.
Súper recomendable!

I couldn't ask for a best place to stay in Mazunte. The room that I stayed had an perfect ocean view, with a most perfect view of the sunrise. I felt part of a big family in paradise. They offer breakfast, lunch options and beer. I just not recommend to HC or people with difficult to walk, as the place is on top of a hill.

Wonderful place just a little up from the main Street of mazunte. The baked goods were amazing! And the views outstanding.

I feel SO grateful we found Balamjuyuc! It was the perfect landing pad - incredible views, good location, really friendly and accommodating staff. Super comfortable, casual, and safe. Less privacy but even for a few sunrises it’s worth it.

Excelente vista. Muy económico y consta con diferentes opciones entre cabañas individuales, compartidas o camping. Lo único malo fue no poder hacer uso de la cocina. Pero hay venta de comidas.
