Mai Tai was great! Ishmael our second server, and whew! My sushi was amazing- seared salmon over rice with truffle oil. Then a roll- salmon, crab, ponzu sauce, lemon. So good! Can't say the same about my friends meal, she was underwhelmed. Mine though was fire. If you go, Ishmael needs to be your server- or your dessert. Lol

Absolutely the best sushi I have ever had, not just in Cabo while on vacation, but ever. Chef Abel is knowledgeable about combining flavors, excellent at bringing out the true flavors. We just let him create what he wanted, and it was incredible.
Make a reservation. Especially if you have more than 2 in your party.
Call in advance if you have a large party to reserve the sushi bar section.
The drink menu is large. Many selections of sake, cocktails, lots of wines. I had the Sangria.

Average Japanese/Sushi restaurant in Cabo San Luca. Terrible parking. We ordered a number of sushi rolls - including hand rolls. Spicy pan fried fish, baked scallops with crab meat and shrimp & vegetable tempura. The rolls were just average. Presentation was really simple. The baked scallops with crab meat was too rich with cream. You could not discern what was in it. The fried fish had curry flavor to the sauce and was too strong to enjoy the fish. The asparagus and bean with the dish were good. The pasta was just meh. The tempura was the only item we really enjoyed - great and light batter and just as good as any restaurant in Osaka or Tokyo. That was their saving grace. Price point is high however.

If you want to be taken advantage of as a tourist, go here. We saw someone else’s sushi and thought it looked good and asked the waiter to order us this. He told us that sushi wasn’t very good and that we should order the one he recommends. When we got our sushi it was absolutely revolting. I told him that we wanted the sushi like the other couple and that this wasn’t what we wanted. He didn’t say anything and just walked away as if he didn’t care. After we complained, he never came back and got another waiter to check on us. We then looked at the menu and realized he took advantage of us and ordered us a sushi double the price of the one we picked. In total we got a sushi roll, 1 tostada, 1 crab sushi, tempura shrimp and 3 waters. Totaling $80!? !

We don’t even spend this much on good sushi in the US. Let alone for 3 small appetizers, 1 sushi roll, tempura shrimp and 3 waters. They should be ashamed to label themselves the best sushi restaurant in Cabo. Vile food and appalling service.

La relación costo beneficio son absolutamente coherentes, la atención es extraordinaria asi como la mixologia, probamos 10 de los platillos que la carta ofrece y todos son deliciosos, productos frescos de calidad e impecable presentación, sin duda el mejor restaurante fusión al que hemos ido en toda la república, altamente recomendable si no es que es una parada obligada.

Went to Nick-San five years ago, had to return because we loved it so much. It was even better this time. Very friendly staff, Octavio is a very friendly waiter & made sure we were set! We would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!

The mexican sushi machine will never break. In And out in 30 mins. Solid sushi. The freshest fish in town. The best food in Cabo. Fast service. Very fast.

I have visited this location every time I have visited Cabo over the years and have hyped it up to my friends as "The Best Sushi I've ever had. " This time the quality was lacking. The yellowfin tuna was dry, the yellowtail had a fishy odor and was not a tender cut, the salmon, rolls, and tuna cake were all good. Oysters were fresh but not what I remembered. Very salty briney taste and had what seemed like straight soy sauce on them instead of the ponzu I remember. The potstickers arrived covered in sauce and while tasty, they were soggy. I will probably come back next time I'm in town and hope you take my comments to heart. Service was excellent as always.

Food was good but fish on nigiri was very thin. A bit pricy for what you get. Otherwise all the local fish was great.

The food was spectacular! On the other hand, the service was somewhat awkward and didn't seem to know the cuisine too well.

Pero la sabrosura está en sentarse en la barra y dejar que el chef te consienta, si tienes tu mente abierta a probar nuevas combinaciones tú y el chef van a hacer una real fiesta en tu boca.
Acompaña todo con una botella de agua y otra de sake dulce (claro! Frío).
El personal es súper amable desde que llegas, lo que se paga vale cada segundo. Si viviera allá, sin duda regreso una vez cada 15 días.

Best Sushi ever, service is great the Sashimi is delicious this is a must go to even if you dont like sushi that much this place will make you change your mind.

Nice place, a weird twist on Sushi. Im not into sauces on my rolls, and not what I would call anywhere near a Spicy Himmachi Roll, but the fish is fresh, and well prepared. Give it a try.

El mejor restaurante de comida japonesa, no solo rollos y sashimi, tienen mucha variedad de platillos y tienen la disponibilidad de modificar sus platillos por si algún cliente lo solicita, tomando en cuenta alergias y restricciones, tienen una excelente cava de vino y una muy excelente selección de vinos y sake, obviamente, ampliamente recomendable

Delicioso sushi, nos sentamos en la barra y dejamos que el chef nos preparara sus recomendaciones. No le tome foto a todo porque nos fue inposible resistir la tentacion de degustarlo inmediatamente. Maneja precios altos pero justificados.

The best experience in Japanese food, best sashimis specifically the specials not on the menu! Excellent service.
