Conrad Punta de Mita

I had a really magical experience here, and I don't know how anyone could not have a wonderful time really.

I went in September, which is low season because of rain, but I really loved it - sun during the day and rainstorms at night were wonderful with my ocean-front suite. Customer service was fantastic - it is a large hotel that has staff that make you feel like you are staying at a small luxury boutique hotel, all with the facilities of a 5 star resort. I used the gym every day - plenty of state of top-line equipment.

Rooms are comfortable, nice looking, clean and well-appointed. Can't say I'd make any changes, and I'm pretty picky.

The pools and beach and cocktails are great but the spa was what really made my stay special. I never thought I would like doing a thermal circuit in a tropical climate but I ended up going to the spa every day to do this. It's just a really beautiful, relaxing and just special spa. The outdoor pool circuit with ice-cold plunge pool was divine. The relaxation room is also an aromatherapy space. Each person or couple has their own personal spa attendant. Mine was Jasmine and she was fantastic - whether bringing me ice-cold water and a cold cucumber scented towel for use post-sauna or, well, basically fulfilling any request I could possibly have.

There is a nice area for kids and also adults only pools. It was not crowded at all. Huge selection with the breakfast buffet, including a quesadilla bar.

I am not sure if they do this for everyone, but when I arrived I was assigned a personal host, Jessica, who made sure that my stay was very special. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Definitely one of the most magical stays I have ever had.

This is an amazing destination resort that has everything you need for a relaxing and luxurious stay. It's better than it looks in pictures. I felt so lucky just to be there!

Family. Well deserves 5* status. If you don’t just plan on staying here the whole stay, I highly recommend getting a car because it’s $50 to leave to go anywhere and $100 for transport to the airport.

Beautiful new resort about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta town in Punta Mita. This was our 5th Conrad we've visited. It wasn't quite on the same level of Maldives and Bora Bora and service wasn't as good as Tokyo or Seoul, but overall we had a solid stay. The property itself is beautiful with a long secluded beach in front and impressive pool complex. One of the nicest resorts we've been to in Mexico. Food was overall excellent. We especially liked Mesquite and enjoyed several meals there. We did have a few service hiccups- we changed rooms the first day because the one we were assigned had an air conditioner that smelled like wet dog (the hotel later ended up blocking the room off). I also felt the hotel overcharged for some things, namely transportation- after our initial transfer from the airport we ended up using ride share apps to go to nearby Sayulita- the ride share app we used was $10 when the hotel wanted $60- as well as back to the airport, which was $25 vs.well over $100. They also wanted $150 for a bottle of Raicilla (local mezcal) that the producer the hotel partners with sells it for 800 pesos (around $40). I don't like constantly having to be on the lookout to avoid being ripped off while on vacation. Also not a fan of the new breakfast policy for Diamond members- breakfast used to be free for our entire family at literally every other Conrad we've been to, now it is just a max $30 for 2 people credit ($15 per person), kids excluded. We also didn't get a welcome letter or any little toys for the kids that we've come to expect from the chain. Overall we had a solid vacation and would recommend and most likely return, however found the property just slightly off the brand standard which I admit has been set incredibly high from our other Conrad stays around the world.

The Conrad Punta de Mita is paradise! You will not find better service, nicer staff, cleaner rooms, better food. I could go on and on. You simply will not find a better place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. Give this place a try - you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful property with very friendly staff and excellent food! The pools are lovely and the beach is gorgeous and swimmable. The staff is very friendly and very competent also. Easy drive of about an hour from PVR. We certainly hope to return!

I've never stayed at a nicer resort than Conrad Punta de Mita. The staff was so attentive and friendly - but never in your face. The rooms were immaculate and felt cozy. The views from the rooms were unreal. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in heaven. Everyone was so accommodating and the ambiance was so relaxing. If I could stay here again I would in a heartbeat!

Las instalaciones son muy bonitas. Pero la atención del personal da mucho que desear.

En los restaurantes la comida no fue buena. En una ocasión pedimos tres platillos, nos entregaron dos y cuando preguntamos por el tercer platillo nos dijeron que ya habían cerrado la cocina.

Los mariscos “frescos” los entregan calientes y se les acaban.

En el desayuno nos apuraban porque iban a recoger el buffet a las 11 am. Adicional a esto, un día a las 10: 40 am nos dijeron que nos apuremos porque en 5 minutos recogían la comida. Finalmente, no recogían el buffet hasta las 12 pm. No entendimos la urgencia de apurarnos.

El servicio en albercas y restaurantes es extremadamente tardado. Y en un par de ocasiones ni si quiera nos entregaron las bebidas.

El último día no podíamos bañarnos porque salía agua anaranjada de la regadera. Lo solucionaron pero para un hotel de este nivel no deben suceder estos percances.

No recomiendo este hotel en lo absoluto.

Tienen muchas muchas cosas que mejorar.

Simply the best! You will not be disappointed. This property is gorgeous. The staff are attentive and warm without being overly pretentious. You deserve to stay here. I will come back again and again. Perfecta!

Excellent service from start to finish. The entire staff is friendly and more than happy to make your visit special. The property is gorgeous, amazing rooms and food. I highly recommend the burger and shrimp tacos. We’ll be back!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Everything about it was fantastic. Come treat yourself to paradise.

This review is for Sadie who helped us get back to Sayulita late at night from Litibú beach. We took a taxi to meet friends at the beach in the evening and quickly realized it would be tough to get a ride home. We called the Conrad hotel and spoke with Sadie who helped us get home in a nice Mercedes van. Appreciate her hospitality and help despite us not being guests of the hotel. Thank you!

In summary: Disappointed, we were expecting a great experience for a hotel with that rate per night. Service =. 5 stars.

In detail: Hotel is beautiful and impressive but it does lack tremendously when it comes to service. It seem ridiculous how we were part of a big group that took most of the rooms, and yet when the staff found out we were part of the group they would take a lot of time and start attending other guests (right in front of us! We ordered a couple beers and he went to serve drinks and contrails to other guests and then 10 min later he gave us the beers and wouldn’t even offer a cold glass like he offered the rest of the gusts). This remain true for the following 2 days that the event lasted. On top of this, the hotel is far away and it does not have any activities planned. For dining the food was good (somewhat overpriced) but again service… we had to grab a waiter and basically beg him to take our order and also had to give him tip for him to consider it. You would think this is for a packed restaurant but no, they still have some tables empty!

My wife and I chose the Conrad to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It did not disappoint. It is new and fresh. We value service and a view.both of which it hit a home run on. The front desk service via txt message makes arranging anything super convenient.

Such an impressive place! My wife and I kept saying the word “special” to describe our stay.
We are a little family with 2 young kids and wow, they took such good care of us here! Things that stood out to us
1) The service was just outstanding. The valet staff was so friendly and caring. The restaurant staff was awesome but Rafael really stood out. He waited on us 3 nights and made sure we were taken care of. One night our kids were burned out of the resort food so Rafael had them bring the kids plain chicken tacos and a pb&j sandwich. He had Noe, the chef, come out and our kids personally thanked him for accommodating us. It was awesome!
Maria had our 8 year old begging to go to the kids club every day as well. We loved getting some time to ourselves each day while our 2 year old napped and Maria had our 8 year old busy with making Mexican crafts. So cool!
2) The property is outstanding! As a Diamond member we were upgraded from a king room to a 1700 sq ft superior king suite. It was so awesome for our family to have plenty of space. This was done without asking, they just did it. They told us “welcome to su casa” and we really felt that the entire time.
3) The natural beauty of the area. It’s not just the gorgeous beaches, it’s the green jungle and the way the property highlights the natural beauty that you just won’t forget.
