Delta Hotels by Marriott Riviera Nayarit, An All-Inclusive Resort

Oh my! Today is our first day and we are in love with the resort. Very relaxing! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable! The staff everywhere super nice and make sure you fell WELCOMED! Can’t wait to see what awaits for our following days! Thank you!

Excelente lugar para descansar, lo padre del lugar que las habitaciones se encuentran dentro de la selva y lo malo es que la playa se encuentra a 15 minutos del lugar pero vale la pena ir a hospedarse.

This place is hidden gem waiting to be discovered by the masses. Not only is the property breathtakingly scenic, and the food excellent (try their fajitas - they don't use flank steak and the meat is more tender and flavorful), but this resort is composed of the warmest, friendliest staff I have ever encountered - and I travel very frequently. Guiellermo provided an friendly and informative check-in (accompanied by a delicious beverage unique to the property - ask for "The Delta Breeze" as well as an efficient check-out. Julio was very kind and helpful during cart rides and the check-out process too. Arturo has a very warm and proactively sought out ways to help us throughout our stay - he made us feel like we were family. Ramon was so funny, personable, and would go out of his way to ensure we had the best experience possible whether that was driving us as close as possible to the restaurant or checking our room to make sure he didn't miss us when we were running late for our cart ride. We even noticed he picked up a dirty dish someone had left outside there room all day - not his responsibility, but he did it anyways. We sincerely enjoyed spending time with him and agreed he was the type of employee we would both hire. Cristobal behind the lobby bar was always wearing a sincere, jovial smile and made THE BEST homemade drinks; beverages you can only find at the Delta. I can't recall her name, but one woman cared for us at dinner, at the lobby bar with Cristobal, and at the gift shop. We were seeking medicine for mosquito bites in the gift shop and the only medicine for sale was preventative, not treatment, so she gave us her personal medicine from her purse! I wish I could recall the names of the waiter and hostest she worked with in the restaurant, because the waiter took care of us all week and they all made sure I enjoyed a special birthday dinner on our last night. Finally, the housekeeping staff made sure our room was adorned in festive, local décor for my birthday. Despite it's beauty, this property's greatest strength is it's people. Of the +200 hotels I've stayed in, no where else has compared.

After a crazy 2 years, this was our first trip away and the first time ever staying in an all inclusive resort. We were hoping for a relax and reset where we could turn our brains off and this amazing place did not let us down. Can’t say enough good things about our time here. The room was brand new and meticulously clean. The location was gorgeous. The grounds were constantly being cared for and the staff were as good as it gets. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were having the best possible experience. Extra thanks to Silver, Hugo, and Caesar for going the extra mile to care for us during our stay. Highly recommended!

This Hotel is magical. The grounds are in a jungle and completely takes you away from the buzzing city into nature. It is peaceful and pure tranquility. The staff are excellent, friendly and are dedicated to making your stay exceptional. It appears all are bilingual and super attentive to making your stay the best. This is a family friendly hotel with not a lot of overstimulation for the kids which was great for my 7 year old.

Bring walking shoes as this is on a hill and while they do have golf carts to take you everywhere just getting to walk around the grounds is breathtaking.

The gym has a lot of equipment and all brandnew.

The spa is well equiped- sauna and steam room with an outdoor pool. The vitamin C facial is rejuvenating and the relaxing massage is very good. Highly recommend either Marissa or Lupita for your spa.

The food is great. There is a buffet brekfast and dinner which is very well assorted and great options. The quesadillas are made with hand made tortillas with melted cheese that strings- so yummy. The pool restaurant is open and you order off of a menu which is also very good. The Delta pantry with great treats for those mid-day snacks. The sweet bread is awesome.

We are not drinkers but many guests said wonderful things about the cocktails and enjoyed the drinks very much. There are many non alcoholic cocktails the delta breeze was my favorite which they welcome you with upon arrival.

The modern and midcentry contemporary style of the rooms is beautiful and the views from all places whether of the jungle or the ocean is great.

They do have a bus that takes you to the beach club. There were stingrays so we didnt go in, and the food wasnt that good so we spent the majority of the time at the resort as the beach club is shared with other resort guests as well.

The covid test is on site 2 per room is included any additional is $35 USD. This is also a very covid conscious location everyone wears a mask, temperature taken upon arrival and handsanitizing stations throughout.

Overall this is a new destination added to our list to return becuadr it really was a magical experience.

If anyone wants to go ziplining I recommend El Nogalito Ecopark. It is an hour away from the hotel but the place is mesmerizing and the guides are very knowledgeable.

The resort really has everything you need but if you do need a doctor or a pharmacy La Comer is a fantastic grocery store about 15 mins away with free doctor consults and pharmacy that can assist you. I wish we had a grocery store like this back home.

We had a great time at the Delta hotel! The staff was so nice and friendly and helpful to us. Ramon was especially helpful always giving us advice, shuttling us to and from our room and making sure we had everything we needed! All of the pools are very cool and the restaurant at the higher up pool had delicious food. Food and drink choices were pretty good for an all inclusive resort and quality was good as well. A la carte breakfast was delicious and the dinner buffet had a lot of variety as well. We were upgraded to a much larger room with our status so that was a pleasant surprise. Overall an awesome stay and definitely recommend for anyone wanting to visit Puerto Vallarta!

Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone about this place opened 3 months ago…. Is like an all inclusive private gorgeous villa!

This hotel was fantastic! It is brand new, and the surroundings and hotel grounds were extremely relaxing. It was exactly what we needed to cap off our 10-day stay in Puerto Vallarta. I'd give the service we received ten stars if I could. Every employee at this hotel went above and beyond in terms of service, and my stay was completely superb! Ceasar, Adrianna, Silvario & especially Ramon (plenty more names, but I can't remember) thank you for a vacation we will never forget! I've already started looking into flights to return in February.

I had issues with my reservations and the agency I booked it with was not being helpful at all, I literally spent 2hrs with them. I called the Hotel directly and in less than 10 minutes the Front Desk Manager, Sebastian was able to resolve my issue. This is called excellent customer service, can't wait for my trip here!

Buena opción con todo incluido y con comida mejor que el promedio de “all inclusive”. Cerca de las playas, buenas albercas y habitaciones muy amplias.

I would give this place a 4.5 star. This place has so much potential, but still has some rough edges that need to be ironed out for it to be a 5 star hotel. The staff's eagerness / helpfulness is 5 star already, so I think it will get there soon.

Pros:
- View & Room: Beautiful jungle setting. Really special / unique place to just relax and unwind.
- Service: The staff are so eager to help. No problem whatsoever getting drinks / food. Silberio truly made our vacation so special, making sure my wife and baby were well taken care of at the pool (I would say the pool side service we received was better than the one at St Regis Punta Mita, which is an extremely high bar). The staff that gives rides were always happy, professional and eager to help.
- Food: Some dishes were truly 5 star quality (e.g. Chicken). My first all inclusive stay and I wasn't disappointed by food at all.
- Drinks: The bartender / server, Silberio, was truly fantastic. One of the best I've seen anywhere. I went to St. Regis right after, and even there, I missed Silberio's awesome Mojitos / fresh Mimosas (and St Regis team made some amazing drinks too). The drink quality did go down when he took a day off, though, so maybe he can teach others:).

Cons:
- Beach Club: it's not really ready and suitable, especially for a 5 star hotel. Food there is great though, so maybe you can go there for a meal and then come back (think of it as an oceanfront dining trip at a beach shack). Without beach club, this means you won't be seeing the beautiful ocean with mountain backdrops (that you can see in Marriott PV) unless you make a separate trip
- Food: Some food, as stated above, was very good. Some could use improvement (e.g. Asian buffet, although beautifully plated / presented). Wine list could probably use more variety / improvement. Their Mexican wines off the menu were great, but staff wasn't familiar with the winelist except this one older amazing gentleman (sorry I am forgetting his name.).
- Consistency / Other notes: Generally, this is what made me realize this was a new hotel. One day I would be getting top service in the restaurant, the other day I would have to make multiple requests for food items. 90% of the time, I would be drinking ridiculously well crafted cocktails by Silberio, but some other cocktails were not really drinkable (too strong / flavor off). House keeping was generally excellent for 6 out of 7 nights, but there was one time they did not come until 6 pm. Music at the pool was same 10 songs playing on repeat for days.

Overall, this was a very beautiful property with kind, eager staff that seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good time.

I am very hopeful that these kinks will be taken care of as the hotel matures. I look forward to visiting again!

Worse experience ever, not relaxing at all kids screaming all day. Food was a total scam, not as shown in website.only one restaurant open. Installation are ok considering this hotel is still new. Staff was courteous and friendly. (please see pictures for snacks and compare with website). We had to move to another hotel.not worth my money for an inclusive hotel I was expecting more base on website description.

Just came back from the BEST vacation of my life. We had an incredible time at this new resort. Our party had 3 rooms, on the top floor of one of the towers. We all had epic views of the jungle and the bay. I had some of the best sleep ever on a vacation. Easy to do on those amazing beds. The resort staff were phenomenal and were always willing to assist us. The resort is quite large and you will need to take the shuttle to get around. We never had to wait more than 4 minutes for a ride. The food was great, and the alcohol is top shelf. The welcome Delta drink at arrival starts your vacation off!

Another unique feature of this resort is the Delta Pantry, it was located in our building and we were very impressed with the quality of food available 24/7. Talking about food, you won't go hungry, the breakfast and dinner buffets had quality food. Our favourite meal at the pool bar was the steak fajitas.

We were also excited to know we had access to a beach club. We took advantage of it 3 times during our week stay and we had a lot of fun. A quick 10-minute shuttle from the property, you also get unlimited food and drink while visiting the beach club.

Being from Canada, we did require a PCR test. The hotel arranged this for us at a cost of $175 USD each, and we had clinic staff come to the property and administer it in a private area. We had the results 26 hours later.

We look forward to visiting this paradise next year. HIGHLY recommend it!

Que buenas vacaciones, por mucho el hotel con mejor servicio. La atención y amabilidad es genuina, de todo el personal del hotel. Todo el personal excelente en cada momento, da gusto encontrar personal así. La comida y bebidas muy buenas, la habitación impecable. Regresaremos pronto!
