Hotel Riu Vallarta

Great place stayed here twice and once at the palace
Food ok.
Air conditioning broke down 4 of our 11 days.
Tv broke brought in a new one.
Elevators broke down a couple of days.
Staff are awesome and friendly.
Will come back next year after the renos are complete at the end of nov 2019.

Me and my family stayed at Hotel Riu Vallarta for 8 days. We had an amazing experience. Clean place, amazing food, and great staff who always have a smale on and gives you an immediate service.
The entertainment was on the point. Every issue we had which was one or two, it was dealth with in a professional manner and immediately. Highly recommanded. Also kids friendly. Only wished they had a child care at least few hours a day and not age reastricted! Would visit again!

Hemos venido 3 veces en los últimos 10 años al Riu Vallarta de los 3 que se encuentran en nuevo Vallarta este es el mejor, tanto por instalaciones como por servicio. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y la comida es muy variada y sabrosa. Un muy buen lugar para vacacionar y descansar.

Awesome service, The bedrooms arent as conrftable as other hotels i've vissited but its acceptable. The waiters in the buffet are allways asking you if there's something else they can help you too. The hotel is very clean I will definitely visit this hotel again.

El lugar está hermoso, las habitaciones son limpias, el buffet muy bueno y variado, la vista al mar está genial; el piso y diseño del hotel le atribuyen aún más, el bar siempre está abierto y con buen ambiente, wifi con buena conexión y el personal muy amable.

I stayed at this resort back in September, and it was the most amazing vacation I've ever had. I went with my boyfriend and our two friends and it was nothing but kind and helpful staff, fantastic cleaning ladies, delicious food and always a wide variety of fruits everyday. The bars and the pools were also great, always head enough employees working at a time so it didnt get too busy.

I will 100% be back!

Beautiful beaches, sorry but hotel is not somewhere I would recommend! Some members of staff are fantastic, but sadly few and far between. Have paid a lot of money to come here, nobody cares, not even the management. POOR

Exelente lugar junto a la playa, buenas y variadas comidas y bebidas. Ambiente para todas las edades. Instalaciones muy bonitas y amplias. Personal poco amable pero serviciable.

Great all inclusive resort, we have been to 5 others in Carribean. Very good food, beautiful beach, excellent staff and very nice rooms

Love this place! It's awesome for anyone who likes a lively vibe and likes to have fun! Cannot explain how enjoyable the riu Vallarta actually is if you go with the right attitude.

We try to go every year and like the hotel and staff. But the hotel is in need of upgrades which are supposed to be done in 2019.

The dancing and activities in the square each evening are what make the hotel great.

Food is good but gets boring after one week.

We are basically beach people and the beach is adequate.

Depending on who you have booked with coach transfer might b included. I went with tui so it was included. Hope that help

Clean. Facilities are 4/5. Staff is good. Drinks are prompt. Elevators are 5/5, very fast. Food is 1-2/5. Unfortunately Once you eat off resort you wont eat on resort.

I had the best experience ever, very friendly, funny shows, food was ok I liked steak house the better because of its view, the room was huge and clean. Good service will recommend it to you

Staff were excellent. Food and drink were good. The steak restaurant probably the best of them.
Is a little tired around the edges though, and could do with a refurb.

Great place to bring your family on vacation. Kid friendly. Lots of restaurants to choose from on the site (resort). Direct beach access and a mini store and ATM at the front desk area

Muy buena atención pero la comida no tanto, hubo días en que no teníamos toallas y ningún día volvieron a colocar jabón o shampoo ni nada parecido

Fantastic hotel very friendly, right on a well kept beach, high standard swimming pools, very appetizing food available throughout the day. Rooms of a fairly good standard with well stocked fridge, and a choice of spirits, tea and coffee facilities.
Ice stations outside lifts on every other floor

Came here on an all inclusive vacation. This The hotel, rooms, and staff are very nice. The art deco, faux-Mediterranean decor is fun. The beach and pools are nice (though I wish they'd had a lazy river). Like most resorts, it is a very busy, hustle bustle atmosphere, with tons of people around all the time. The food is average and the drinks are (like all resorts) not very strong and low quality liquor. It is a good choice for people on a moderate budget.
