My now husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Mexico. I had visited Sayulita years ago, and had never forgotten the incredible people, the charming town, beautiful beaches, delicious food, and overall authentic place it was. So after doing a lot of research I came across Playa Secreta and knew it was the spot for us! I reached out to Karen, and from the moment I reached out she was a dream to work with! We set our date for 12/19/20, and then COVID hit. I was absolutely devastated, but knew postponing was the right decision. Karen was beyond supportive. When we were discussing new dates, the weekend we wanted was already booked for a yoga retreat. Karen could have easily told us it was not available. But instead, she reached out to the yoga group and actually offered them a deal to move their whole retreat to a different weekend so we could have our wedding on 12/18/21. This is just one of MANY examples of how she bent over backwards to help make our day a dream come true. We actually hired planners prior to connecting with Karen, but she was so flexible and was amazing enough to work with our planners to coordinate our big day and make sure we had everything we needed. In the midst of COVID, so many people are primarily concerned with money, and their own needs. Not Karen, and not Amor Boutique. When my mother in law was unable to attend at the last minute the hotel gave us a credit for the room that we can use within 2 years, with no hassle whatsoever. And as I said before, Karen worked beautifully with our planners and 100% supported us through every step of our planning process, all the way through our big day. Our wedding was an absolute fairytale- it was everything I could have imagined and more, and this was in large part due to Karen and her team. She is organized, responsive, and genuinely puts her customers and their needs above everything else. We opted for the international bar option and the buffet. The food was delicious! And even though it is a buffet, the setup is very classy, - they have people serve your food for you, and then walk your plate to your seat for you. The bartenders were also extremely friendly, and their service was superb. If you are unsure of where to get married in Sayulita, look no further than Playa Secreta, you will have the wedding of your dreams!

Karen was phenomenal - I cannot say enough positive things. We planned the wedding almost entirely remotely, from California. Karen truly took care of everything - down to the last thoughtful detail. She was amazing at checking in along the way, and she even rearranged her schedule to meet with us over Zoom and in person several times before the big day. All of our guests had such an amazing time and complimented us on how well-organized everything went. But we did very little; it is all thanks to Karen! I'd love to have Karen plan another event for us in the future - she is the best:) Also, Villa Amor is just stunning. All of our friends and family were very impressed.

Planning an international wedding can be very stressful, but with Karen's help, our wedding was planned down to the finest detail with nothing for me to worry about. We had a few vendors (cake, photography, and party gifts), which Karen was able to communicate clearly in Spanish with a short phone call to them. So many details would have never happened if we didn't have a capable, reliable, and honest wedding planner to help plan our Sayulita wedding. Thank you, Karen! We highly recommend you.

Our wedding in Sayulita was everything we had imagined and more thanks to Karen and her team. Karen was extremely professional, organized, and knowledgable. We had our wedding in Sayulita in May of 2021 through the Villa Amor and worked with Karen. It was an incredible experience and everything I dreamed of and more. We started our wedding planning in 2019 but due to covid we had to push our wedding out a year.
