The Grand Bliss at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta

Es un lugar hermoso y muy agradable para la gente que gusta caminar, ya que por ser un complejo muy grande necesita moverte en carrito que los incluye el complejo o caminar, y para tomar taxi ó tu coche, si ó si necesitas transportarte en la carritos, tienes todo ahí mismo, ya que es un hotel que no tiene todo incluido y cuenta con cosineta, pero ahí mismo tienes tu super mercado con todo lo que tu puedas necesitar, así como su centro comercial, panadería, pastelería, chocolateria, neveria, farmacias y licoreria.
Lo único los precios si son algo altos en casi todos los articulos así como los restaurantes, pero vale la pena en ciertos artículos y alimentos ya que están riquísimos y de muy buena calidad, lo único que no me agrada de ese complejo es que casi todas las noches hay show en el área que se llama SANTUARIO y para poder tomar asiento y ver cómodamente el show, tienes que consumir si no, no puedes sentarte y tendrás que verlos parado en un rincón para no estorbar a los que sí pagan, fuera de ahí todo excelente.

Not my style at all.

The good: The property and the rooms were clean and beautiful. The food was good - even the room service.

The bad: First of all, parking is not free - and getting out of the massive complex is a minimum 30-45 ordeal of calling the valet, taking a shuttle to the valet stand, finding someone willing to hunt down our car, finding someone else to get our keys, making sure we had tip money, then driving on a long winding road with huge speed bumps every 100 yards or so.

Check-in was another long ordeal even though we insisted that we were not interested in a timeshare tour. We had to go through 3 people and wait in line twice to be given our room keys.

Accessing the pools and beach was inconvenient and frustrating. There are no pools on the Bliss property. You can walk to the others - a 10 minute walk each way. The beach was even further. Once you got to the beach there were no towels, restrooms, water or drink service - only for the special “owners” section. You had to hike back to the pools for any of that. From the beach chairs, there was another 150-200 yard walk through sand to even get to the water. During our week there, we saw no one actually using the beach area.

Employees were hit or miss - some were very friendly, some refused to make eye contact. A surprising number spoke no English at all, but nodded and pretended to know what you were saying as they walked away leaving us thinking they planned to help.

The suite was nice, but the plunge pool on the balcony was a dirty, cold disappointment. Also, we were in a 2 bedroom suite that supposedly sleeps 8 - and there was just 1 lounge chair and two hard plastic chairs on the balcony. Everything was an extra charge - $700 pesos per week if we left any dishes in the sink when the maid came; even the cheap coffee and water in the room was an extra charge.

Restaurants required another shuttle ride, were very expensive, and the environment was very stoic, almost somber at night. We definitely aren’t party people but it was uncomfortably snobby.

We came for the relaxed, fun vibe that defines Puerto Vallarta for us, but sadly we had to leave our resort whenever we wanted to find it. We enjoyed waking up in the lovely suite- each day wondering if the maid would actually come that day (even though our outrageous resort fees supposedly covered 2 services per day) but for spas, restaurants pools and beach fun we went to Bucerías, PV, Sayulita and even spent a day at a neighboring resort to enjoy their friendly pool and spa.

And don’t get me started on the non-stop construction noise.

Honestly, I’m a bit surprised by all the positive reviews. Most of the people we encountered were older and we overheard many complaints about the size of the resort, too much walking and excessive waits for the shuttles.

This place is unbelievably large you'll probably get lost inside the resort and never leave lol which might not be a bad thing

A real 5-star resort experience from the food to the accommodations.
The staff is at the top of their game in service and hospitality. But be prepared to do a lot of walking.which is good for you!

Hoy, quede decepcionado y asqueado del agua en las habitaciones. Eran la 2 p.m. Y el agua tenía sedimentos, la misma agua con la que ya había lavado mamilas, fruta y lavado los dientes de mi hija y míos. Hable a recepción para reportar, pero su justificación fue que estaban dando mantenimiento. Me es raro su justificación, ya que para el nivel de instalaciones dudo que no filtren el agua de sus pozos antes de almacenar en cisternas. Aclaro que el agua tardó 3 horas mas en salir limpia y nunca se tuvo seguimiento por parte de nadie. Me queda muy claro que se tiene mejor seguimiento para vender tiempos compartidos que en atender quejas de necesidades básicas.

Great experience! The activities at the pool are the best of the best, specially Vanessa and Kimberly make them more awesome.

Everyone here is wonderful they are so helpful and the joy squad is phenomenal they just make us feel so so good we love it here we come every year Meet oh my goodness OK what’s your name which one OK lots of good friends it’s one of the best resorts they keep you entertained all the time

The place is beautiful! The timeshare presentation was the worst experince I have ever had at a timeshare pesentation! And I have been to numerous sales presentations. They are the most dishonest and rude I have ever met!

They jump immediately to get you to sit through a 60 minute and 6 hour presentation! If it's your first visit you haven't even had time to explore the property before they want you to spend several thousands of dollars.

This was the worst sales experience ever! Patrick was pleasant. Jeff the sales manager was not. It seemed like a complete bait and switch operation. It was supposed to be 90 minutes. It has ruined the days vacation. We were treated so poorly at the Sales Center that we left angry! Be prepared to record your conversations, take pictures of all the paper as they won't use technology to give you the data and be short and to the the point.

French Faire, if you like French Fair probably considered one of the very best. Me not my favorite. Atmosphere outstanding sax player wow double wow. Did I say French Faire not my favorite. The wife whom likes French Faire would give it 3 stars. Do expect to spend a lot of time at this restaurant not saying it's slow however it's not a quick sit and eat hence the type of restaurant but that's to be expected. Our meal came up to 1900 pesos that seemed acceptable / reasonable.)

Buen lugar pero nada novedoso ni extraordinario como lo costoso que es y se espera por el enorme precio.

Me encanta definitivamente el mejor lugar para vacacionar amabilidad comodidad y maravillosa ambientación es increíble lo que se ha logrado desde Vidafel felicidades!

Very relaxing time! Great pool right by the beach and good service. We really loved hanging out at the pool and doing the various activities - especially with Vanessa, Eva, and Angel Yair from the joy squad!

Hermoso lugar, buena ubicación, excelente servicio, buenas instalaciones, gran tamaño e infraestructura de primera.

Es un lugar maravilloso, súper cómodo, instalaciones espectaculares, el único problema es que siguen haciendo construcciones y además del ruido cerraron varios caminos, lo que dificultó la movilidad dentro del complejo.

Vidanta is 5 diamond and breathtaking views, stunning presence and maintenance and possible the best vacation resort I have experienced and I have been all over the world! Trust me not only that but allows vacation programs worldwide with efficiency, enjoyment and the upcoming global entertainment tourism!
