Hotel Riu Jalisco

Excelentes instalaciones, habitaciones muy limpias, los empleados son amables, la comida rica y variada, aunque en el snack hace falta papas o algo más que hamburguesas, el área de las albercas con mucha limpieza, el show de la noche también espectacular, aunque los meseros no están pendientes de ofrecer bebidas en todas las mesas. Excelente para ir en familia.

Excelente! Una estancia súper amena, la comida muy rica, los alimentos son de buena calidad, las actividades muy entretenidas y el servicio excelente por parte de los empleados, Sin duda regresaremos de nuevo!

Fun beach club Riu hotel. Staff work with every effort to ensure the stay is pleasant. Variety of abundant food, drink, eating areas and bars. Beach is outstanding. Especially sunsets. 4 star overall.

Found an insect in my food, I have a photo of it, it’s not a real 5-star hotel based onthe cleanliness and service qualities. Beds and the room smelled really bad and towels were dirty, not a good experience and will not suggest to other people. Most of the employees were nice tho.

Me encanto el hotel, cerca de la playa, los restaurantes muy limpios, mucha variedad de comida, la habitación muy limpia aunque nunca pude tomar de las bebidas que ofrecen dentro de la habitación por que las botellas estaban casi vacías cuando llegue y en los 5 días que estuve nunca las rellenaron y decía que cada tercer día.
Fuera de todo eso, excelente, volvería a ir.

Es un hotel que ofrece paquete todo incluido todos los alimentos y bebidas. La atención del personal es excelente y el precio que manejan ronda los $3,500 a $4,500 pesos mexicanos por dia/noche de hospedaje. Las instalaciones tienen 2 grandes albercas con chapoteaderos con agua tibia y 1 alberca para niños. Cuenta con spa, varios restaurantes de comida internacional (sabrosa la comida por cierto) spa, bares, discoteca, estacionamiento, teatro de espectaculos y por su puesto acceso a la playa.

Pésimo servicio de recepción, en una ocasión acosaron sexualmente a mi hermana un extranjero, fue a recepción a reportar lo sucedido e hicieron caso omiso fue tan frustrante la actitud del personal.

We returned from our vacation with Riu Jalicko, where we were the second time (the first one last year). The hotel service was different changes in a bad way. As for the room, it was dirty, the cleaning workers did thrir job badly, only the beds were made every time and the towels were changed. Dust everywhere, nobody washed the floor. One pillow was with a dirty pillowcase (an act of the impression that someone was already sleeping on it). A shower always smelled, the container with liquid soap did not work. Paper towels were not in the room. Air conditioning after working 2 days, stopped working. Considering the fact that our room was on the 6th floor, it was not possible to sleep and rest normally because of the heat and stuffiness, plus the smell from the shower. We received assurances of a quick resolution of our problems for our applications and customer service requests, but nothing was done that way. We were very tired from the heat. It was not possible to open the windows at night in order to breathe fresh oceanic air, as this resort and the noise of music of disco and conserts. In the morning, when the discos, the show ended, the staff of the restaurant on the first floor began to work (at 4-5 am). They slam plates and glasses on a glass table and made lots of noise, talked loudly and made a lot of noise than they made impossible to sleep. We were tired of fighting and nobody paid attention to our requests. The customer service employee said that the hotel might make us a compensation for inconvenience, but in the end they stated that they would not repair the air conditioner and would not move it to another room either. It was a nightmare! Last year we didn’t have any complaints, we wrote a courteous review about the hotel and came back here again in the hope of the same service. But we were wrong with the our decision. The beach was dirty, the children were digging in the sand with a bunch of cigarette butts and pieces of building materials (I cut my foot on a piece of building tile in the sand). Alley was dirty, the toilets on the beach were often clogged and did not work. Last year, I liked the hotel by the cleanliness and tidiness of the territories; they were washed every day almost every day with a special machine, like in a mall. There are no complaints about food. I also want to warn anyone who wants to buy excursions. Before you buy a tour of the hotel, ask about its elsewhere. We bought a ticket to the Pirate ship, we overpaid money than in other places. And transportation is not included but for other groups it was included (we paid extra money for taxis). The expected did not come true. Landing on the island is a separate topic. The island turned out to be the coast, where a bunch of people were brought from various excursions. Waves. They were such that the boats could not sail to shore to pick up or disembark people. The healthy men were thrown off by a wave like slivers. The child was wash out from the hands of the parent and threw the wave ashore, he was stressed. Those people who bought a fishing trip, hopelessly dangled in the ship and did not even try to throw fishing rods, but simply kept afloat. In short, a it is complete wasteof tourists for money and some time is was very dangerous for life! So one of the pirates on our pirate ship confirm our guessing about wasting money. More about the beach and the ocean, the waves were big at the hotel almost all week. Waves washed a hole near the shore, and if you can't swim, then it was scary to go into the water, because you could be washed off in a big wave. In short, Riu Jalisco. El servicio es muy bueno en general, el hotel es viejo y sin estilo, las habitaciones tienen buen espacio, 100 % familiar, en la convenience nos saliò una cucaracha, la comida es pèsima, las bebidas pasables, en fin, mi hijo se divirtiò y es lo importante

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Grounds are well maintained, food is good, service is good. Good value. Paid 1800. For 2 adults for one week and we were very happy.

Food was okay, beautiful beach, nice pools. Good service. Air conditioning didn't work in the room, box frame was moldy.

Hotel is slightly dated but kept extremely well. Staff are very friendly & attentive. There's always activities/something to do.

The beach is extremely clean with lots of loungers.

It you can find Ramone at the outdoor bars between 3-11pm, he's the best bartender ever! Be sure to ask for his espresso shots they are the best there is.

The wait staff are excellent, quick and friendly with everything but the restaurants are so-so at best, everything tastes the same and the flavor gets boring quick (we go into town frequently, try Pipis or Tuna Azul). The only good coffee can be found at the sports bar.

We've come to the Riu Jalisco for three years at Christmas and we're never disappointed.

Muy bonito hotel, buenas bebidas, la comida puess mas o menos pero siles recomiendo el restauran de comida china y el de cortes muy buenos los dos.

We went to the Rio Jalisco December 14th to the 21st it was absolutely beautiful that bartenders are awesome The Cook's the servers the lobby guest could not ask for anything better and the beach was absolutely beautiful the food was spectacular could never ask for anything better and the Sunwing reps were so very helpful I would go back again in a heartbeat the gerbigs

Good for the price point we got it for. Gets very crowded during the Thur-Sunday due to day passed being sold by this property. I'd highly suggest to stay at Riu Vallarta instead for a $100/week stay difference.

Great place for fun and relaxation at the beach. Nice waves to play in and also activities like horseback riding on the beach.

Lugar seguro para obtener unas agradables vacaciones. Cuando se quiere tener la garantia de una buena experiencia buena, bonita y barata este es el lugar.

Se presenta como un hotel de cinco estrellas, sin embargo hay detalles que lo hacen desmerecer. Se debe poner atención especial al servicio de las habitaciones. En cuanto al servicio en comedor y bares, es muy bueno, aunque puede mejorar.

We stayed in Riu Jalisco for a week from December 9th. The stay was good overall. Room, food, drinks, entertainment etc were very good. However, two nights we were not able to sleep. Some young residents were walking around the middle portion (fountain area) of the hotel in the midnight to early morning talking and screaming. No security was stopping this wild behaviour. We phoned the front desk. Still, no results. Very disappointed.
