Sheraton Buganvilias Resort and Convention Center

Excelente servicio en todos los aspectos, solo no me gustó, que exigirán camisa con cuello y pantalón y zapato en el restaurante mexicano, en un lugar de playa!

Todo el personal muy amable y servicial. La comida del Buffet buena sin ser especial (se entiende cuando deben cocinar tanto para tantas personas y en condiciones de calor extremo). El área de comida bufette no es lo suficientemente espaciosa para atender a tantas personas a la vez y menos en tiempos de pandemia, creo que se les fueron de las manos los protocolos anti covid, demasiadas personas en el Buffet, realmente preocupante, si hubiera imaginado esa situación no hubiera hecho la estadía. La playa no es nada bonita pero sé compensa con grandes y cómodas albercas.

An awesome 10 days in paradise! A beautiful resort with an amazing staff that's dedicated to service and ensuring your needs and expectations are exceeded. We spent most days at main hotel pool and were astounded by the amazing pool side service that Mariano provided. He often arrived back to us with fresh refills of our favorite adult drinks just as we emptied our cups. We sought out to sit in his area every day. On Mariano's day off, his brother Gama also gave us excellent service. Javier was another great server.

In the spa, we enjoyed the hydrotherapy (dry sauna, cold plunge, hot sauna, refreshing pool with different sprayers and jets). Mar and Maria gave amazing massages!

Do not miss Sunday brunch with unlimited champagne/mimosas and mariachi! We went both Sundays we were there and it was a great time. Good food. And such great music by the professional mariachi band (at least 15 member band).

As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member, I had access to the Sheraton Club Lounge. They served a very nice breakfast and hors d'oeuvres/desserts each day. Very attentive lounge attendants.

All rooms are ocean view and have windows that open for a nice ocean breeze. It looked like there were a few suites available with balconies, but we were not afforded such an upgrade on this visit.

Rooms are your typical Marriott/Sheraton room: very nice.

Housekeeping did a great job each time we requested service.

Room service was always fast and food arrived hot, fresh and delicious.

There's a very nice convenience store on the resort property as well as a very nice (and affordable) gift shop.

After four cancelled trips in the past year due to Covid, this was just what we needed. A true getaway.

We did have one disappointment upon our arrival: the beach. Unfortunately, the resort only has a very small beach and it's very rocky terrain and rough sand. I'm so glad we got over our initial disappointment quickly and gave the resort a chance. It far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Hermoso lugar, los meseros muy amables, solo cambiaría el tiempo que te hacen perder en tratar de convencerte en tratar de venderte tiempos compartidos

Cuando llegas al hotel te abordan vendedores de tiempos compartidos que se hacen pasar por personal del Sheraton y te quitan varias horas de descanso o vacaciones para intentar venderte algo absurdo. Fue muy molesto y sólo por esto no regresaría. Otra cosa mala es el diseño de los baños, son casi transparentes y derraman agua hasta afuera del cuarto de hotel. De las cosas buenas es la comida. Los postres de la villita son excelentes. Otra cosa muy buena es la atención de los meseros, 100% atentos.

Leaving Puerto Vallarta after our first trip. Lots of highs and a couple lows. Loved our experience at the Sheraton Bouganvilia resort with the All Inclusive package. Gamaliel and all of the crew at the pool was so attentive and kind to us. But Gama is the best of the best.

Had a great time doing a paddleboard and snorkeling adventure with Felix at Vallarta Surf & SUP. Highly recommend working with him!

Onto the downside. We were robbed by the police on our last night here! At around midnight, we were walking home and as I finished a cigarette and threw it into the trash, I saw 4 police officers running toward us. One small, chubby man grabbed me and threw me down onto a ledge where I was sorta hidden behind some bushes near the senior Frog on the boardwalk. Another smaller female officer stood and held me hostage while 2 other officers (one tall man & one tall woman officer) told my husband that they saw me smoking weed and that they would be taking me into the jail and holding me for 48-72 hours. With our flight being the next day, I (of course) started to freak out. The female officer was grabbing my hands and aggressively telling me to calm down while one of the other male officers didn’t even know why they had stopped us in the first place. They took my husband down the boardwalk where we were separated for probably a half hour. I was terrified, crying, hyperventilating and truly thought he was not coming back. They walked him near an ATM, said “we don’t want to be on camera so we will stop here, but go to that ATM and pull out $600 American dollars and we will let you go. Of course we complied. When my husband finally got back to me, the officer said “I don’t want you to hand me the money, I’m going to take my hat off and you put it in there. ” When talking to folks at our resort, I was told that if this ever happens, pull your phone out and start recording immediately and they will leave you alone. Puerto Vallarta was so beautiful and our trip was wonderful until this terrifying experience. We will definitely be back but plan to stay in our resort and only leave if we take an Uber.

Buenas instalaciones, personal muy amable y atento pero los agentes de venta de membresías, paquetes y planes insistentes y prepotentes.

Lo malo: Todo bien hasta que te ofrecen paquetes vacacionales, los cuales te explican como si tú llevarás el mismo tiempo que los vendedores en el negocio, específicamente su vendedor Alberto.

Primero muy bonito, te enganchan con una explicación de una tarjeta VIP con múltiples beneficios si tomas el tour para conocer las instalaciones, que disque para que te animes a regresar después.

Luego al otro día el gerente de ventas prácticamente te dice que si no tienes el suficiente dinero no hagas el tour.

El otro vendedor (Alberto) te explica con muchos números, no claros que si compras aquí que el holding, mercadotecnia y todavía te cuestiona que si le entendiste de una forma altanera, repito, no conozco ese negocio y mucho menos voy a comprar algo que me explican con las patas.

Los precio caros, el buffet arriba de 350$
Un agua de litro de la habitación 25 (la marca Skratch)

Lo bueno: La vista muy linda, las habitaciones también aunque los elevadores viejos, el personal de bar, entrada etc muy amables.

Conclusión: no regresaría, prefiero 100% un lugar igual de bonito pero a un costo un poco más bajo.

From the time we checked in everyone from reception, staff, bellboy were all very friendly & helpful in everyway. The whole week there were very pleasant Thanks again & we will definitely be back

Un día me llego una super promoción de personal de este lugar, se presentaron y todo fue muy formal pero su promoción tenia clausulas de ingresos para los prospectos de esta promo, te piden un pago y luego te dicen que no calificas, total que ellos dicen hacer el reembolso pero han pasado más de 3 mese y este reembolso no ha sucedido.

I went for their brunch and had an amazing day. The food options are great and they are generous with the Mimosas.

Amazing brunch experience. Great buffet food with bottomless mimosas. The value and service were next level. We loved the mariachis and the other entertainment. Excellent experience that you must try

Excelente hotel todo incluído, solo no me gusto el querer que compres paquetes de alguna u otra forma, se que es su trabajo pero si quita mucho tiempo su labor de venta, deberían tener más respeto con los tiempos para sus labores de venta

It was very good and service was great. Minor things make the experience slightly less pleasurable such as rough sheets or poor elevators. But overall very good experiences here.

El sitio es maravilloso, se encuentra cerca de distintos sitios que se pueden visitar, tiene vistas increíbles, las habitaciones podrían mejorar en cuanto vista, es un sitio limpio y el personal es muy amable, en cuanto a la administración podría hacerte sentir un poco más en casa, no recomiendo tomar paquetes si lo van a pasar fuera, preferentemente es bueno solo si se piensa quedar en el hotel

Have spent week vacations here several times in last 20 years. Great location to be able to walk to downtown spots and enjoy local restaurants. Rooms are fantastic and service at the resort is the best. All of the staff is very friendly and very helpful. I'll be back.

Sin duda uno de los mejores hoteles, con buena ubucacion y para nada ruidoso, es algo costoso el lugar pero vale la pena

There was a rave on the beach just outside the night we were here and we heard everything right through the walls. The front desk can't/won't do anything about it and we couldn't sleep at all.
